Hmm. So you're a switch hitter facing a pitcher that you know has an extreme reverse split. Normally you want to bat lefty against righties and so, but with guys with reverse splits, I wonder why I never see switchies take advantage.

Buchholz has thrown 80 through 6. Theoretically he could go the distance. I think Tito saves his bullets though.

I can't agree. Lowrie was nearly as touted as Pedroia. If he can EVER recover from that wrist problem, I think he'll impress us.

If we keep Gonzo I would hope Lowrie gets every chance to take over SS for himself.

Defensive numbers I choose to believe in suggest that Gonzalez is good, not great defensively. There's no shortage of other, better shortstops available. My personal favorite is JJ Hardy.

Neither do most KC fans. As much as I don't want him back next year, I'm glad we picked Gonzalez instead of betancourt.
