    Salary caps are ********. In the NBA the Thunder got f***ed out of a dynasty because they couldn't keep all three of Durant, Westbrook, and Harden, despite being the exact kind of small market team the system is supposed to help.

    I've said this before but any award that people have to vote on is ********. If it's not apparent and indisputable, like a championship or triple crown, then it shouldn't be given out. This is just off the top of my head but the best may to measure a manager might be whether his teams outperform (or underperform) their pyth on a consistent basis.

    Scalabrine was hated among the entire fanbase for his first two seasons here (pre-Garnett). This whole white mamba mock support thing only started up when the team started winning. The exact same people who despised him only a year prior all suddenly loved him and erupted when he hit shots, only because the team was finally good. Boston fans are f***ing hypocrites and the Scalabrine thing has always been annoying as f***.

    Sadly I'm not that surprised by this, seems like he's been under quite a bit of stress since his career ended, with his company going under, reports that he's spent every dime he ever made during his playing career, I heard one of his sons has autism, I feel like I'm missing a couple of things too. Not good.

    Okay, just so I understand this. Iortiz is saying that the Cubs signing Tanaka would be a terrible move on Theo Epstein's part, since a team in their position has no business making short-sighted quick fix signings (yay!). But at the same time, iortiz and others have also made a habit of slamming Epstein for not making the necessary quick fix signings to turn the Cubs into a "winning team" (read: an 83 win team instead of a 66 win team or whatever they are). So what exactly should Theo be doing with the Cubs, in their eyes?
