  1. Wade is taking a team that, without him, is headed for a similar fate as Washington, and single-handedly putting them in the playoffs. They're going to be the 5th seed, at the very least, I expect them to move into 4th when its all said and done. Wade is the team's best defender, EASILY, and also one of the very best in the NBA. He's the team's only offensive facilitator, and he again is one of the best in the league at that. Lastly he's one of the top 3 closers in the game, and hits countless amounts of big shots for Miami, oftentimes just to keep them in games. Take a look at the garbage Wade is pulling behind him into the playoffs. Not a single big man on that team can defend. They have no depth at those positions, their best player down low is Haslem. JO'N is a dog who can't play interior defense anymore and the vast majority of his offense comes from jumpers. Blount and Joel Anthony are terrible. Beasley's a good second scoring option, but defensively he's a disgrace. Moon is terrible. Quinn is terrible. Mario Chalmers can shoot and play a little defense, but other than that he does nothing. James Jones and Luther Head have been good bench players, but they have given Miami nothing whatsoever. The only depth player they have is DQ. Minus Wade (for a season, obviously for single games they could give teams a hard time, like tonight against the C's), this team is a failed abortion.
  2. I should have phrased that differently... stats are going get LeBron the MVP this year, but the best stats do not automatically make you deserving.
  3. Maybe put the updated version of the old logo in there on the banner (my avatar is the updated version).
  4. Stats win MVP awards?
  5. Exactly, LeBron will win it simply because of this retarded wins precedent.
  6. Where else could he be a number 3 starter?
  7. You'll start posting once we meet conditions that can only be performed in the future, we can't talk to you about Ted Williams and Yaz if you aren't posting... you know what, its easier to just call you retarded.
  8. No sir. Wade = the deserving MVP.
  9. This is your reasoning? Wow, definitely wouldn't want a guy who can hit high velocity and has been having no command trouble to be a possible future closer (you know, in event that Papelbon's demands are too high).
  10. TB - I'd welcome him, obviously, but I don't think management will want pay the return price for Cutler. MIA - I doubt Parcells is interested, given Cutler's attitude lately and Parcells' general philosophy about winners. CHI - They should, but they won't. NYJ - They tried a similar move last summer, that didn't work out so great. I say unlikely. DET - Probably where he ultimately ends up. SF - See Miami. Though they definitely have more of a need for him than Miami does.
  11. Right now, I wouldn't sign him. If we get to mid-May or later and its clear that Penny is doing well and will have to be shut down, I don't see why you don't give Pedro a shot.
  12. For depth in case of a real injury streak, I wouldn't mind it.
  13. What else is new, T.O. already getting acquainted with people in Buffashit. Captain dipf*** wants number 81, and insists he will be wearing 81 next season. One issue - James Hardy already wears #81. Why do I smell a retarded mini-soap opera on the horizon?
  14. Herro.
  15. He's from New York. He's Slavic, of course.
  16. I like that idea a lot. Too bad Selig's a dipshit.
  17. You said 'is not about the Yankees'... Yankee fans are harping on the Red Sox for spending money and going a bit over the 'norm' for a guy like Lester at this stage in his career. Meanwhile, Yankee fans just watched their team go out and give obscene, way over-the-top contracts to three different players, spending half a million on them. They also made like a $300 million commitment to A-Rod not too long ago. So saying that its not about the Yankees in a thread thats concerns the Red Sox supposedly 'overspending' is complete hypocracy.
  18. And interesting it was....
  19. Every MLB team should have blackballed him when he turned the Dodgers down again about two weeks ago. You reject that kind of deal twice, when there are no other suitors... they should have forced Manny to sit out and send him a message. Its only collusion if it can be proven.
  20. Iffy is being generous. I doubt there's a single Buc fan who wants any part of him. Unfortunately, the team is run by an idiot, so I guess there's a small chance...
  21. http://www.kffl.com/hotw/nfl Holy s***, Dumbinik did something right.
  22. Since I'll be up all A.M. (I managed to re-f*** my sleeping schedule just in time for spring break), maybe trolling soxprospects would be something to do tonight... Aren't there a few former talksox guys over there?
