    1) George Steinbrenner net worth 1.3 billion dollars (wikipedia) John Henry net worth 840 mill (March 06 Boston Mag), Tom Werner 600 mill (2002 Forbes most recent I could find). SO yes the Boston has the exact same spending power that the Yankees have but I honestly cant imagine Henry and Werner's net wealth remaining stagnant the last few years.... 2) Nintendo owns Seattle, Liberty Media owns the Braves, and the Tribune company owns the Cubs. Your Steinbrenners or Henrys cant compete with those 3 companies.

    That has all the asking of another Pavano situation.... Sheets hasnt had a complete season since 2004. He had a great season this year, but now he is possibly out for the year.

Also on a side note I really couldnt give 2 shits about hockey or basketball (except college) but I will offer you my condolences on parting w/ the AFC East Crown to none other than the lowly Buffalo (for now, but soon to be Toronto unfortunately) Bills.

    My Bills are looking damn good. Trounced Seattle week one. Than walk into Jacksonville week 2 and win there. Not only do we win in Jax but we come from behind. And we do something that Bills teams of the passed never do. Usually we cant come back from behind. If we do our defense allows the other team to drive down the field and score. And if our defense stops them usually our offense goes 3 and out and gives the other team a chance. But in Jax we came from behind, stopped the jags, than had a prolonged drive and got a FG out of it. Very excited about this season

    I couldnt imagine anyone thinking Pavano is gonna turn the team around. There are truely not many people I wish Gonorrhea on but he is one of them

    As I said before doesnt matter who wins the wild card cause LAA is going to steamroll either. Even though I'd rather throw all my money and double 00 than bet Yanks making the playoffs.
