I didn't see last night, but I don't see how you can say they "played like crap" in the Yankee series. Two pitchers peformed poorly in one game, and one starter was left in too long in the other. That was about it. If anyone played poorly it was the Yankees. They were completely asleep through 7 on Friday and rolled over on Saturday, but because of the pop in in their lineup they got away with it.
The Sox have played steady as she goes .600 baseball since the break. Meanwhile the Septic Tanks have had stretches of 8-2 followed by 2-8. I expect them to continue in the .600 to .650 range the next two weeks (8-4 from here out sounds about right), and play about that pace when they get into the post season.
