    You know why he's not liked around here? Because he's garbage. Absolute garbage. If we didn't have to send that sack of crap out to the mound every 5th day we'd probably be leading the East by 4-5 games. Seriously, I'm usually optomistic about most guys but Lackey has no hope. None.

    Us missing the playoffs and New York failing to win the World Series does not constitute a successful season.

    That definitely didn't help their case to sign him, but the main reason he went back to Philly is because he really enjoyed his time there in '09. Simple as that. Not everyone wants to play in New York.

    Please tell me at least a few of yall watched South Carolina and Florida tonight. That was seriously one of the best baseball games I've ever watched. Unbelievable. I'm rooting for SC. Florida's coach is a huge d-bag.

    Agree to disagree on that. With it only being the 6th inning I'm going with the guy that's been hot. Now if that was in the 8th, maybe the 9th I would be fine with Ortiz pinch hitting in that spot, but not only a little over halfway into the game. I wonder if Hanrahan is available for a third straight.
