    Jeff Mathis doubles down the line off Bruney. 8-5 now. Pour it on. We saw K-Rod blow a 4 run lead to Baltimore the other night - I'm not taking anything for granted.

    Well, at least he got Cano to ground out. A base hit there would've really been trouble. Hopefully the Angel bats can put up some runs tonight.

    At this point I'm expecting nothing from Seattle. They're incredibly bad, and if they can take just 1 of the final 3 games from Tampa that would be gravy. It was a pleasant surprise that they won last night though.

    Disappointing losing the opener with our ace on the mound. A 2-2 split this weekend would be nice. I would say taking 3 of 4 would be great (and it would), but in reality we all know we're not winning 3 straight on the road, much less in Chicago.

    I think Franklin is their current... "closer", but I'm guessing he had the day off and instead they used Izzy. The thing is, Franklin hasn't been getting the job done either. They all suck.

    lol @ Izzy blowing a 4 run lead in the 9th to the Dodgers. There is not a worse bullpen in the majors than the Cardinals. How they're even in contention for the WC is baffling.
