  1. Um, I wouldn't just write off Buchholz. There's a very good chance he will be in our rotation come next year. I don't think Colon is long term either.
  2. Haha I know. That's what I was thinking. Lowrie with another double.
  3. Nice. Way to get out of the jam.
  4. Like this move a lot. He can step in and give us some much needed stability at the #5 spot in the rotation with Colon still rehabbing and Wakefield on the DL. And plus, we get him for a PTBNL or cash.
  5. I wouldn't really expect the Sox to make a run at Hardy. Chances are they just stick with Lowrie and let him develop, which I think is the right move anyway.
  6. The AAA knuckleballer we just called up to start tomorrow night. 13-4 with a 2.89 ERA this year at Pawtucket
  7. Solid win, solid road trip. I'll take it.
  8. Up until this year MLB Extra Innings usually showed the home team's broadcast. Thankfully this year they changed that and the majority of the time they show both broadcasts, giving you the choice of who you want to watch. I love it, because every game this year I've been able to watch NESN aside from the Rangers and Astros series due to them being our "local" teams since we get FSN Southwest on Directv.
  9. I didn't catch all of it - but something about a mass exodus of White Sox fans leaving the park right after Ellsbury's hit to put us up 5-1. MLB.tv gives you the home team's broadcasters every time, correct?
  10. Way to go Ellsbury! Big base hit there! 5-1 Sox
  11. Hopefully we don't see any middle relievers this game... Beckett for the 8th and Papelbon to close it out in the 9th.
  12. As long as I don't have to listen to them when they're playing the Red Sox, I'm fine. They generally don't bother me when I'm just casually watching a White Sox game. But when my team is involved, that's when they piss me off. Thankfully, I have NESN so I don't have to worry about it.
  13. As for the actual game, Glen Perkins is pitching a gem. 8 innings, 4 hits, 0 runs.
  14. Drewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!!!!! What a huge, huge double.
  15. There we go, a hit by Youk. Come on guys, lets do something here. Get on the freaking board.
  16. Ouch. Right on the tailbone. But hey, at least we've got somebody on for a change.
  17. No. Our offense has not shown up tonight. Beckett is doing a great job but is being overshadowed by Danks' perfect game so far.
