    Crisp has been scratched from the lineup with flu-like symptoms. Ellsbury is now leading off with Kotsay batting 6th.

    I'd go with Seattle. They had that big trade to get Erik Bedard and most everyone thought they would either win the AL West or at least get the Wild Card. Hasn't exactly worked out for them. The Tigers and Guardians have been extremely disappointing as well, but not as much as the Mariners.

    Anybody else as stoked about the upcoming season as I am? Several games will officially kick it off tonight. Vanderbilt @ Miami Ohio (6:30 ESPNU) NC State @ South Carolina (7:00 ESPN) Oregon State @ Stanford (8:00 ESPN2) Looking forward to finally watching some college football tonight. Should be 3 good games.

    I only was able to catch the game from the 7th inning on (work), but I sure came at the right time. That was an impressive performance. A sweep tomorrow would be incredible, but even if we don't I'm thrilled with at the minimum taking 2 of 3.

    Phillies won 8-7 in 13 innings. More importantly, the M's just beat the Twins 3-2. WC lead is at 2 1/2 now.
