Being in Cardinal land (bad times) I went to the old Busch several times and went to the new Busch last year and saw Manny and the Dodgers. It's a pretty nice looking place. My seats weren't the greatest, but then again they were free so I can't complain too much. I'm sure I'll go to a game or two sometime this season. Wish the Sox would play there in the near future in interleague.

Brian McCann hits a 2 run homer in the 1st to put the Braves up early @ Philly. If they could get the sweep today that would be some start to the season, considering they should cruise with Washington coming in for the weekend.

Yeah, they're doing the free preview through Sunday I believe. You really get your money's worth if you buy Extra Innings. I've had it 5 years running.

yeszir, Kazmir really doesn't scare me. He's been pretty erratic vs the Sox the past year or so. I'd rather face him than Shields, Garza, or Sonnanstine.

I actually like Magrane. He's been pretty good I think. All in all, MLB Network's cast of analysts trumps ESPN's, mainly because they don't have any flipping idiots like Winfield, Young, Eduardo Perez, etc. All the guys on MLB are pretty solid. I don't understand why ESPN hires some of those guys. It's always good to tune in to hear Gammons, Kurk-JIAN, Olney, Kruk, etc though, which is why I still watch Baseball Tonight.

So, do you have to have a SP in the SP slot to get credit for his stats? Like, could you start two guys at SP, and two others at P and get credit for all four, or just the two in the SP slot?

ABSOLUTELY. This channel is so epic. I watch it a ton even though I have MLB Extra Innings. It's so awesome to flip over there and hear intelligent discussions with Harold Reynolds, Magrane, Leiter, etc, rather than some of the crap ESPN analysts like Dave Winfield and Eric Young. Did anyone see Winfield the other day giving predictions? It was so, so bad.

Got to watch it on Tivo after work. Not like we can expect this kind of a Beckett every time out, but it sure is encouraging given his struggles last year. He just looked different out there today, throwing harder, looking stronger on the mound. Love getting off to a 1-0 start. Great job all around.
