Part I (Cleveland, Houston, Atlanta)
Lance Berkman (Houston Astros): Great all around infielder and superb slugger. So far he's busted up 8 big flys and has 37 RBIs. He's a good switch hitter too. But his .251 average could improve. Overall he's an up and coming player with 8 years of the Show under his belt.
Craig Biggio (Houston Astros): Future Hall of Famer, he's currently on the road for 3,000 hits and is only 20 hits away. No doubt in 10 years time we'll be seeing his induction ceremony at Cooperstown.
Carlos Lee (Houston Astros): Up and coming super slugger who's already got 11 homers and over 50 RBI. He's had an amazing past three seasons and shows no signs of losing it. Put Carlos in Boston and it's all over for the Yankees.
C.C. Sabathia (Cleveland Guardians): This guy's got Cy Young written all over him. Six years in the majors and well over 1,000 Ks. So far he's 9-1 and shows no remorse for the batters he faces. He keeps this up, to Cooperstown he goes.
Grady Sizemore (Ceveland Guardians): This guy is the player to be named later, for the Hall of Fame that is. Already at 11 big flys, 38 RBI, not bad for three years in. This warrior is a killer at the plate and on the bases with 18 tolen bases thus far. He's only just begun but he's one of my favorites outside of Boston.
Travis Hafner (Cleveland Guardians): Amazing power hitter with great stats so far. Definite Silver Slugger or MVP to be.
Andruw Jones (Atlanta Braves): Old-timer (in playing years) who's still cranking 'em out. So far with 11 homers and 46 RBIs, he's keeping up and even surpassing the newer guys.
Part II coming tomorrow with all the NL East teams.
