Why don't we play Cora more often than Lugo. Tito should do with Lugo what he did with Pedrioa, and make Cora an every other day player switching with Lugo.

I think Moss will be better than Ellsbury right now in the majors. Moss has experience which is something Ellsbury doesnt have.

I wouldn't move him anywhere in the bigs unless we were out of outfeilders. We still have Hinske, Pena, Moss, even Youk as a spot starter in the OF. Unless we are down to no one, I would leave Ellsbury where he is at until 2008.

The problem I have with your lineup is that Youk is fifth, the way he is performing wouldnt you want him higher in the lineup? Also I don't like Lugo leading off, but I guess theres not much of a choice. I think Pedrioa deseves a shot at moving up in the lineup. I'd like to see him hit 8th soon. They should drastically move him to the beginning of the lineup. Keep him at his comfort level.

I thought that we should have used Wake tomorrow and Julian today. Wake is a much better pitcher during the day according to his career splits (3.45 ERA; Night 4.62 ERA). And again in career splits Tavarez is a better pitcher at night. (4.24ERA compared to Day 4.61 ERA)

I disagree about Lugo breaking out of this slump. He performed poorly last year. He is just like Crisp. Lugo will hit .250 this year in my oppinion.

Pedrioa's got a 7 game hit streak. His BA is now .279. This is the Pedrioa I had expected in the Off-season. Lugo now has a .225 BA. Just keeping everyone updated:D

Ellsbury doing good? In AAA he has a .273 BA and that is not good. It's not bad either, it's average. He needs to work more in AAA until his average is at least .300.

Last night Lugo goes 0/5 and left 4 on base. His BA is now .236. Pedrioa goes 2/4 and his BA is now a respectable .269. Wily Mo went 2/4 and his BA is also .269. I think this agrees with my observations. BTW, Wily Mo's and Pedrioa's BA is higher than 4 Red Sox starters and 4 Yankees starters. I hope I don't hear any negative comments about them for a while.

This really is an interesting topic. I think skipping Schill would be a bad idea because he may not like it and he is a very outspoken person. Tavarez has dominated the Yanks this season, so I do not see him being left behind. The only one who i think they would play around with is Wakefeild, but the only way to do that is to have him on 4 days rest and push Dice-K, or have Wakefeild completely miss the series and have quite a rest. I guess it's hard to determine exactly who is pitching until we know the pitching matchups. I believe that we will go Wake, JT, Schill. -
I don't care if he's been there before, he's not hitting liek a leadoff hitter. Plus he's never played in Boston, players tend to change when they go to Boston, good or bad [ex) Ortiz, Coco]. If we lose the upcoming series in Texas we should switch our lineup around.

Ok, i really hate the YES network. I am forced to watch it because i live in the Western New York area. Last night, in the eigth inning when Arod slid into 2nd, he was a real *******. After he slid on the base he got up, but when he got up,he leaned over into Pedrioa and elbowed him in the groin area, and pushed him over. What a class act he is. And what really pissed me off is the Yankee announcers knew what he did, but they defended him. I believe Micheal Kay said "It looks like A-rod stumbled when he got up and fell into Pedrioa." As a private network you can be biased, but you shouldn't defend every wrong thing your players do. A-rod was wrong, the announcer could have just said that Arod purposely went into Pedrioa, but instead he claims Arod tripped. ********!

Why Drew? Why not Manny or Lugo? We are in first for a reason, and if we weren't there would be other contributed factors; not just JD Drew.

Wily Mo is actually playing better than Drew now. Plus if it comes down to game tieing run to the plate in the 8th/9th and Crisp of Pedrioa/Cora is at the plate, we will have Drew off of the bench.
