I would take a Buchholz, Anderson, ++(Delcarmen, Masterson, etc) deal for Lee and V-mart in a heart beat.

I can understand normal people smoking/chewing tobacco, but professional athletes? It just seems very very contradictory to take extreme care of your body, but do something so hazardous that it can give you throat/jaw cancer, etc.

I've always wondered, what the hell is with ballplayers and chewing tobacco? Don't they know by now that it is pretty horrible for their mouth/body?

Because he is a FA after next season and they won't be able to keep him. I'm not so sure he would get traded now though, I bet he does next season.

Ugh, Tek can't lay off anything right now. Bounce one to the plate or throw it into the stands and he'll still swing at it with 2 strikes.

He basically just mentioned Buchholz, Lars, Bard, Masterson, etc as not being integral/central pieces of the team and thought they should try to make the trade. I don't think he really understands some of the talent we have. Sure, they might not be integral this season, but they are the future of this team, as in, the very near future. He even said "It's not like we need to give up a established position player like a Pedrioa, Ellsbury, or Youk..."
