    I still don't think we should give up on Ortiz just yet, but I'm all for limiting his time a bit. July wasn't great, but Ortiz still did hit 7 HRs, 24 RBI and slug .539. He's on a cold streak again right now, but I think you have to try and work it out. If we can have a healthy, "normalish" Ortiz for October, the team will be in much better shape. I think it might be worth it to let him struggle in the lineup 3 games out of 5 for a while longer.

    GT only 13 pages? Nice and easy read tonight! I'm almost in disbelief that we have been scoring runs in bunches. Bay is back, Lowell is raking, all is good again.

    I think the best question to ask is, does a random lineup simulator that only takes into account OBP and SLG really the best way to form a lineup? I think there are a lot of other factors that need serious consideration.

    There in lies your problem! If you want something more filling, try a chicken milano, seafood pomodoro, white clam sauce, or even grilled chicken alfredo.

    What do you usually top it with? I do a lot of chicken, beef/sausage, or seafood/shellfish with pasta so I just focus on the quantity of sauce rather than pasta.

    Why is it Drew hating when we think he hasn't performed up to expectations in Boston? I thought that was disappointment, not hate. The only real hate I've seen on this board is for Lugo and for those who don't worship Drew.

    Defense would be fine if Francona wasn't such a f***ing idiot. Who in their right mind would put Youk in LF if they had a choice? He should be an absolute last resort.

    Youk just looks lost in LF. What an aweful route he took. Tito is a f***ing idiot for putting him out there. I can't wait to hear why he didn't sit Kotchman, have youk at first and Reddick in LF.

    Fine, he no hits us through 7 or 8, then the pen finishes off the no-no. Point is, I don't see the Sox even getting a single hit today, let alone a run. Buchholz is going to give us 6+ innings of 1 run ball and we will lose 1-0.

    Youk screwing up in LF could cost runs while Reddick in LF could potentially save runs. It's not just a matter of who is the better hitter.

    Also, WTF isn't Reddick in LF? Lol. Francona would rather Youk play LF, than sit Lowell have have Riddeck facing CC. Francona, I know we need offense, but lets not completely sacrifice the defence.

    lol. That is why Youk shouldn't be in LF. This team has such great depth.

    Buchholz hasn't pitched well in over a year. He has been pretty bad so far this season (6.05 ERA, averaged less than 5 innings) and you expect him to pitch well against the best lineup in baseball, in Yankee Stadium, on a 4 game losing streak. Are you insane? I hope Buchholz pitches well, but logic tells me he won't.
