    Dice-K is rolling. Just 57 pitches through 5 innings. Another CG would be HUGE. Dice-K is starting to look real good the last few outings.

    A CG by Dice-K would be HUGE for our pen with Hansack pitching. He wouldn't have to worry about only going 5, even 4 innings.

    I hated the Sox for letting Renteria go, and still do. They have been soo impatient in the last few years with the infield.

    Double machine lowell. He is such a great 2-strike hitter. Just a beautiful inside-out swing there.

    Yea, its hard to tell. It looked like Diaz was coming up and slid his foot out over the plate, but hadn't touched it yet. Pedroia slapped on the tag just before he put his food down on the bag, it was close, i would need to see more replays, but I like the call. Who says Umpires don't have tough jobs!

    Yea. f***ing NL. I don't understand why they can't use a DH when its the f***ing All-star game. No body wants to see a pitcher batting in the all-star game, it's supposed to represent the best players and no pitcher is good enough to qualitfy them as one of the best hitters... so keep them out of the lineup. That was a really close call, it did look like Pedroia got his foot just before it actually touched the bag. Really close, good call.

    I have to agree. It's just not wise to bunt against a struggling pitcher. It did look like he was trying to bunt for a hit, but still, I'd much rather him swinging there.

    IDK, I think I'd rather the matchup the other way around. First off, It would make for a more exciting game seeing DiceK battle against Smoltz, and I like our chances vs Lerew, regardless who is pitching for us. What evs. Lets just win 'em.

    I really don't want to go into NY Monday after playing a DH Sunday. I hope we either get these games in or reschedule. 2 DH in 3-4 days, then heading into Yankee Stadium for a 3 game set just spells trouble.

    Great game, great series. But realistically, Hinske was terrible in RF the first 2 innings, granted the wind did play with the ball, but still. But he dialed it up and made a great catch and the big 2R HR, so all in all, he had a great game.

    I don't get this. Jima threw the same amount of pitches as Paps, so y not use Paps, who is are actual closer?

    Thats what I'm wondering. Paps only threw 11 pitches, so I'm thinking that with the weather supposed to be bad tomorrow, they turn to Paps for the save.
