  1. This is unsettling how pathetic the offense has been on this road trip. We need a manager who knows how to form a lineup. Youk in the 3 spot, the 2 weakest hitters leading off, etc etc. How does he get away with this s***?
  2. and smack some sense into Francona.
  3. We definately need to improve our offense and defense.
  4. NO, Papi or Drew should have PH for the pitcher in the 7th with no outs and the lead runner on. Sacrificing Cora for 2 .200 hitters is HORRIBLE managing. Now another automatic out at the plate.
  5. Tito gave up on this game in the 6th. Anyone else starting to get a bit concerned about our lineup? There are automatic outs developing everywhere.
  6. And Tito uses Drew in the wrong spot.
  7. And Timlin continues to do horribly with inherited runners.
  8. Welcome back Timlin...
  9. Is anyone else getting sick and tired of seeing so many Red Soxs trying to laydown bunt singles.
  10. More importantly, Lugo and Crisp have a combined .278OBP and are HORRIBLE with the bases empty; Lugo is hitting under .200 with the bases empty. I want a logical explanation from Tito as to why he keeps putting Lugo and Crisp at the top of the lineup. That is, if there even is a logical explanation.
  11. So Tito sacrifices Cora for Lugo and Crisp to get a chance... Um, isn't cora swinging better than either of them?
  12. JD isn't facing Randy Johnson today.
  13. The lineup on Nesn has Lugo and Crisp 1,2. When will Tito learn. Crespoblows:3
  14. He couldn't have done anything with that.
  15. I'm assuming that you made the incorrect call... If you call with pot odds and lose, it's still the right call and a winning decision. I'm talking about throwing away a hand that you would be making a losing call.
  16. Anywho, I wouldn't use the straight vs flush example. Straights are fairly easy to get away from if you experienced enough.
  17. Actually, I play poker, I am generally the one quietly taking money from everyone else. And I never give advice at the poker table. Thats just bad poker etiquette.
  18. Thats why you don't bunt there. TEK time. Make it happen Captian. Give us a lead.
  19. Lets get some offense, please.
  20. Crespblows, the reason I mentioned that is because I don't understand Tito logic behind keeping a struggling player in the spot they were intended to hit. If anything, dropping someone to the 8/9 spot will take away some pressure or light a fire under their ass.
  21. Tito WAS one of the worst NL managers when he was with the Philies.
  22. Oh god. Pineiro is warming up in the pen. I'd much rather see 2 innings from Paps in a tie game than seeing Pineiro throw a single pitch.
  23. Tito is "patient" What Tito doesn't realize is you can let a player find their groove WHILE they're in the bottom of the lineup. If they suck, drop 'em. You have to earn your spot in the lineup. Lugo and Coco haven't.
  24. OK. I have seen enough of Lugo and Crisp. WMP should be our starting CF and drop Lugo to the 9 spot. I am sick of having sub .230BA and sub .300 OBP guys in the top of our lineup. Or in our lineup period.
