  1. Over under on how many more games until the yearly " The Yankees are f***ed" thread from Gom?
  2. Ga,e starts at 2AM here. I'll try and hang as long as I can:D
  3. There trying to get younger and create cap room. Although it does seem a bit risky with an untested rookie. But they do there job better then i could so we will see:D
  4. Like Shields, bit of a stretch. But major upside.
  5. I agree. But I decided to take the risk anyways. He fits the mold of what I'm trying to build my team like. Believe it or not, there is a method to my mayhem
  6. Wouldn't the series have to be 1-1 for the rubber to come in to effect?
  7. Give him time to fill out. He will hit for some power down the road.

    NFL Draft

    Agree 100%
  9. After pulling a dumbass with my first second round pick, I took Josh Hamilton. I know it might be a stretch, but if he keeps it together, and continues to play in Texas, he could put up monster numbers.
  10. Hahaha sorry was reading a story about David Wright before my game, and just plugged him in there when I got home. Let's try this again, 20th pick OF Josh Hamilton
  11. Ya Arod's biggest hurdle in his career will be mental. And having to work that out in NY will be a lot of fun for him. I'll say this, if he ever gets that monkey of his back, MLB beware.
  12. I've been a supporter for Ellsbury since the beginning. Albeit I have gotten a lot of flack for it:D Not much of a pitchers duel last night, but it was entertaining to watch as some friends and i played poker:thumbsup:
  13. I wouldn't call Arod "unclutch". He's had his moments wheres hes come up big and or carried the team. His biggest problem is he is a headcase. Thinks too much at the plate. The opposite is true for Manny. While Arod is pressing and thinking of trying to hit the ball(thus becoming tense), Manny has a Reggae band playing in his head.
  14. You pick last in round 2:D
  15. Don't get me wrong, I love me some Papelbon. But like Example said, he could turn down a good offer and take the highest offer. But if Bard continues on his pace, he might make us forget Papelbon very quickly when the time comes.
  16. Halladay is in his prime, but he's heading out of it. Shields is just entering it. So I see your general reasoning.

    NFL Draft

Is everyone pumped for the draft? 2 hours and counting:thumbsup:
  18. He will get better with more experience, He's only been in the league a year and a half.
  19. Fine with your reasoning, but you could have gotten Shields much later IMO.
