  1. Greinke is fun to watch at least
  2. 5 run lead for Greinke... this game might already be over lol
  3. Byrd is bad enough by himself, now the ump is f***ing him
  4. Don't worry, I got it:lol:
  5. I think they keep Lowell and have the same rotation next year between Lowell, Youk and V-Mart. Probably getting more playing time then he currently is. I'm not sure I see the Sox adding a 1B this off season via the trade. Obviously they could go after AG or Fielder. But I think if they do make any big trades it will be for a SP and/or SS.
  6. Doh! I knew that, I don't what the f*** I'm thinking sometimes. Could be. There going to be a few teams looking for a 3B this off season.
  7. They may bring in more revenue, doesn't mean they will spend it on the field. Minnesota's owner has been known as a pretty cheap guy. He may have issues with all his new stadium money going straight into Mauer's pocket:dunno: It might be more realistic and better for the club overall for Minnesota to pick one of the M's and trade the other to fill in other rosters spots on the ball club. It could really go either way. Should be interesting non the less.
  8. If it's true what PC is saying in Kessel didn't want to play in Boston, you might as well get what you can for him. Obviously when your a team in contention for the Playoffs you want something that will help you now. But to have that many high picks isn't such a bad thing. It's probably a top ten at this point in time. It could easily be a top 5 pick. I know it's early, but any young players stand out in this years draft class? I'm gonna be honest. I followed the Bruins growing up in Maine, but when I moved I kind of lost touch with the team and whats been going on with them. But being in Europe we get a lot of Hockey here and over the last year or so I have started to follow the team a bit more. And since this is probably the first time I have talked hockey here, what's everyone's opinion on PC?
  9. Here's a quick glance at the Twins upcoming payroll allocations, 2010 Will need to find a SS, 3B, SP(replace Pavano), Arbitration for Young, Liriano, Span, Gomez, Slowey(maybe more not sure) 2011(notable players on the books already) Morneau 14M Nathan 11.25M Mauer 15M?(if they keep him) Cuddyer 10.5M(option) Punto 5M(option) Kubbel 5.25M(option) Baker 5M Thats 65M(current payroll) right there for 2011 and 7/25 of the players on the roster. If they plan on keeping everyone and staying in contention there are really going to have yo up the payroll to like 90M+ IMO. Unless they really bring up a lot of young talent to fill in the rosters spots. And who knows how that will turn out:dunno:
  10. I am on this side of the fence too. MDC will have some good value IMO come this off season.
  11. LOL I think they should sell on Delcarmen. He could be a closer in the NL. I think the Brewers will have interest. Hardy for MDC straight up.
  12. :wtf: I go to bed when it's 7-0(3am here), to wake up and see they f***ing lost 12-9 to the stupid ass Royals Weak...
  13. You guys still think I was wrong about CC being having a legit shot? lol I don't see a unanimous choice. I think the votes are going to be really divided making for close vote. Right now my top 4 are(in no specific order) CC, Felix, Greinke and Mo. And I think a case can be made for each. I don't see Halladay or Verlander winning it.
  14. Argue all you want about the stats, this is how I'm looking at it, Verlander vs Beckett wash Lester > Jackson Buchholz = or > Porcello Dice-K > better then anything they have left.
  15. Then maybe the division crown might be worth going for.
  16. If it happens fine, if not oh well. They should be lining up their rotation for the Playoffs regardless. Detroit would be a nice change of pace for the 1st round though(I think that's who they would play if the win the East). I know the Sox have really had great Success against the Angels, but that has to end sometime right? And now they Have Kazmir, who has really given the Six issues. Detroit has Verlander and after that? Porcello? He is a 21 year old rookie. He can't have too much left in the tank you would think. Washburn? Detroit looks like the weaker team to me.
  17. . There is going to be many different paths they could take this off season. It will depend on a number of other teams as well, Florida possibilities- Johnson and/or Hanley Milwaukee possibilities- Hardy and/or Fielder Seattle- Felix SD- Adrian Minnesota- Mauer( we won't know until November, but if talks fall through for an extension Mauer could possibly be available). And then there is Beckett. If one of the pitchers mentioned ^ is acquired do the sox pony up the $ for him or let him walk and collect the picks. Maybe even possibly trade him. Beckett for Mauer?
  18. Josh Beckett says "up yours"... Johnson is upper echelon IMO. He seems to have fully recovered from TJ. And he is hitting his prime. Me personally, I see Johnson as Beckett part II. Burnett at worst(which still isn't bad - his last 1.5 months lol).
  19. Let the mega ubber blockbuster trade talks begin lol Johnson and Hanley + a LF, and call it an off season
  20. I see the dots are being connected;)
  21. Easy Tonto. He has been above average with the bat. The expectation were so low for his offense it just seemed like he has been great. I've always said, with Agon, if you get any offense at all it's just a +. He was brought in to sure up the D at SS.
  22. D-3 prospect on the " Dojjita scale":D
