    Yes he does. Its been weird. He's hitting enough homers, but he's not hitting enough doubles and just doesnt seem to drive the ball like he used to. He was never a true homer hitter. But he could always shoot the gap in RCF. He just doesnt do it anymore

    Jeter needs to go back to Athlete's Performance in the offseason. Last yr, he looked 10 yrs younger. This yr he didnt go and he looks like he's a 36 yr old SS.

    I have watched Jeter all yr long. He no longer has any drive to the ball, he doesnt hit liners anymore and he cannot reach the gaps. Aside from the random homer, he's been a minus offensively.

    Why the hell does Gardner not steal here? Jeter is almost an automatic grounder, meaning he'll either single or ground out. We need a run here, not a single moving him to 3rd

    I hope you guys get him. He'll be an improvement this yr, but if he is viewed as a C long term, then his defense is going to kill you. Scoscia hated his D so much that he started a Mendoza line guy over him.

He is on schedule to return in 2 weeks ARod started hitting today and says he'll make it off the DL on Sept 5th Berkman should be activated on Sept 3rd when he is eligible Now for the bad news. Damaso Marte has experienced a setback and is likely headed for the operating table for his shoulder. Good thing Logan turned into such a boon (pun intended). He might be the best thing we got out of the Vazquez deal

    They could have absorbed salary instead of giving up anything. But I dont think that they could have done enough to stay afloat

    My guess is, it wasn't B12, but so be it. They cannot suspend him 50 games for it and by the time the investigation completes, it'll be the offseason
