Yeah, after 2 devastating blows early on with Garcia and Bleich going down with career threatening injuries, it really took off. BA is finally set to have the Yankees in the top 10 next yr, even though they should have been there this yr. But that is neither here nor there. Since the Yankees failed to make a move for RJ in 2004 due to farm system weakness (although Cano and Wang were available at that time), Cash and Co. made their farm a priority. And in that time, we have seen Hughes, Chamberlain, Gardner, Robertson, Cano, Wang, Aceves, Nunez, Pena, and Cervelli make meaningful contributions on a 1st place team, while also seeing Kennedy, Jackson, Ohlendorf, McCutchen, Karstens, Tabata, and Steven Jackson make the bigs (or excel in Kennedy and Jackson's case) for others as well. And the fact that we are still in the top 10 means that there is a lot more to come.
