So many bad things happened in that 8th inning. You keep Swish in the OF, you put in Sori, you leave him out there to dry, then you bring in Robertson instead of Mo in the biggest situation of the game. Jesus Christ, Girardi is AWFUL
And a pitcher who says his arm needs to build up a bit. It makes no f***ing sense. You have a pen full of good pitchers, and you go to the guy who is dealing with a bit of dead arm IN A 4 RUN f***ING GAME!!!
Soriano goes on record saying that he needs to build up arm strength. Nothing like putting him into a f***ing 4 run game in a back to back situation to build up that arm strength. Seriously, I hope Girardi gets 1,000 papercuts on his nuts and falls into a vat of lemon juice
I dont get the Soriano move here. Just dont f***ing get it. Joe Girardi is once again one of the worst f***ing managers in baseball, who gets bailed out by a good roster.
I dont get throwing Soriano there, up 4 and after his velocity has been a bit down. Working him more in the cold weather doesnt help him, especially since he's gonna be throwing. Girardi f***ing blows it tonight. f***!
BTW, you guys are gonna love Albers. Throws absolute ched, tons of movement and no clue where it goes. I have a feeling he'll strike out the side, walk 2 and give up 3 runs
BTW, the sox were NOT the most injured team in baseball last yr by money. The Twins had $30 million collected off of the DL last yr, the most in baseball.
How they are leaving Beckett in right now, I dont know. He's coming off injury, it's cold as f***, it's his first start of the season, he's looked terrible, and he has thrown 104 pitches.
Chemistry in baseball is overrated. It's all about slumps and peaks. Thus far, the sox have more slumpers than peakers in the lineup and all slumpers thus far in the rotation. You need at least 4 guys peaking in your lineup at once to stay consistent.
