    Heathcott got back from his 5 game suspension and went 3 for 4 with a SB. Montero went 1 for 3 with a double, 3RBI and a walk tonight. The BA still solid at .319, but the OPS in the high .700s needs work

    It depends on the PTBNL, but this is a steal. Morales has a live arm and was even the Rockies' closer for a little while. I guess the options issue was the clincher. Also, it looks like his control has worsened over the last 2 seasons. 32BB in 42.2IP over the last 2 seasons isnt a good thing. Also, his splits vs lefties this yr make him not really a situational guy. His OPS vs righties is .595. His OPS vs lefties is .935. Regardless, he is a reclamation project for the sox. If they can right him, he'll be an elite reliever. If not, then it depends on who the PTBNL is

    Depends on what you are comparing them to. If you are comparing Wake and Aceves to the suck that DiceK and Lackey are putting up this yr, then yeah, I am sure they can outdo that. If you are talking about career norms, then I highly doubt they can duplicate

    It's not one "isolated" yr on either end. Tex was a .950 Ops guy for 2 yrs prior to Ny and continued that in 09. Last yr was one of the worst of his career. And Cano just entered his prime. His last 2 yrs are a he'll of a lot more relevant than what he did 6 yrs ago

    Regardless, Robertson continues to be nasty when he gets the ball over the plate. Good to see Joba get that last out. Regardless, Girardi got f***ing lucky trying to extend the rook. Nova pitched well enough to win, but not well enough to be given a long leash in the 6th with us on a 6 game losing streak

    Cano is not above his last 2 seasons. He's entered his prime, his early career numbers are irrelevant. In terms of Teixeira, you arent doing the math right. Currently, his BA is 11% off career norms, his OPS is down 4%. If you go back to his first yr in pinstripes, his OPS is down by 7.3% and BA down 14%

    This was as predictable as it comes. Nova at 90 pitches through 5, has a 2-1 lead and about to face the lineup for a 3rd time around. Why cant he go to his pen without the bases loaded for f***ing once in his life and try to secure a win?

    So the Yankees lose Soriano to the DL and we bring up Chris f***ing Dickerson? Really? Take a look at Justin Maxwell's AAA numbers and compare them to the anemic Dickerson and see who should have been f***ing called up
