  1. Avoided the walk for the most part. As he will always do, he got away with some cookies due to his stuff. It wasnt a putrid effort. It wasnt exceptional. More importantly, it wasnt one that changes the status quo. He wasnt bad enough to relegate him to the pen. He wasnt good enough to gain a strong foothold in the rotation.
  2. David Phelps looks much, much better than advertised
  3. Our third base coach is a f***ing retard
  4. Girardi is such a f***ing moron. Runner on 3rd, 2 outs, Markakis up, Rapada ready, Garcia already 4 wild piches in and he throws a f***ing wild pitch.
  5. Russell Martin needs to hold onto that one. s***
  6. Drabek was a top prospect when he was throwing low to mid 90s. Last yr, he seemed to have dead arm
  7. AL East- Yankees AL Central- Tigers AL West- Angels AL WC- Rangers AL WC- Rays NL...I dont give a s***
  8. Freddy Krueger needs to be relieved
  9. This lefty looks like Kei Igawa from a motion standpoint and a stuff standpoint. Hopefully they have the same results
  10. The sox are going to sweep this series. Drabek is still feeling his way around and Romero always lays down vs the sox.
  11. Nova looked pretty f***ing good today. 7IP 10H 2ER 0BB 7K. Of the 10 hits, only a few were well struck. I love the command today, though, and the huge thing was the K's. This is a guy who struck out 98 in 165IP last yr. He was always a contact pitcher, but added a slider at the end of last season which gave him a strikeout pitch if he needed it. Today, he was on point with the sinker, the slider, the change and the slow curve. The only HR was on a high change, otherwise, he kept it down. He also didnt seem to cave to the pressure of having runners on. I like this kid when he's going right. In the spring, he looked awful, then he comes out with better velocity and stuff than he showed all spring. Here's to hoping he can keep up his swing and miss stuff, cause he could really be a good one
  12. Maybe he's trying to pump it in there like closers do, but forgetting that what makes him good is his capability to get outs quickly
  13. Ace looks back to normal tonight. He's locking this down
  14. 95mph from Aceves? He's pissed off
  15. BTW, Arencibia might be the worst defensive catcher in baseball now that Posada and Tek have retired. Wow he is awful
  16. Aceves is from Mexico, but nobody is sure what his origins are. My guess he has some Irish in him
  17. That was a mistake sending McDonald. Bautista was playing in and the ball was out of his hand by the time McDonald was rounding 3rd. A throw that doesnt skip gets him even if it is offline
  18. Yeah, I hated that. Hence why I have extra innings.
  19. If Ortiz was still in, the ball ricocheting around the infield wouldnt have mattered. Fat Ortiz would have been out by a mile
  20. Awful throw and awful play by the catcher. He was meat
  21. ARod tasted it and said it was pure awesomeness. It actually cured his lack of balls
