  1. Campos 5IP 4H 1ER 1BB 7K. The guy has a 0.56ERA in 3 starts, allowing only 5 hits in 16IP. He's been absolutely dominant. They say they are going to go slow with him, although he may push the envelope. He doesnt even appear to need to try. Also, Austin has been on fire. 2 for 4, a walk and a SB yesterday with a triple as well. Bichette, Williams, and Sanchez all are hitting over .300 in the early going, with Williams already stealing 6 bags. That team is fun to keep tabs on
  2. Well, Garcia sucked again and Wade spit the bit tonight. So be it. Pettitte is apparently four starts away, even though he threw 60 pitches in his last outing. Sounds like they're upping him by 10 pitches per start. Pineda threw a pen without any issues today too. He should be out on a rehab assignment soon.
  3. Austin 1 for 2 with a triple and 2 runs scored thus far. LOL
  4. That RCF porch is a joke, but it works for us, I guess.
  5. Freddy and Hughes are making these decisions much easier
  6. 14 for 32 to start the yr is impressive. But when 10 of those 14 are extra base hits (4 doubles, 3 triples, 3 homers), that is damn impressive
  7. But from the gameday, he scattered his walks until that final inning. 7 walks and a hit batter in 6.2IP is not ideal
  8. Unfortunately, no. I was dealing with the dumbasses who thought they could run 26 miles in 88 degree heat
  9. 7 walks. He's lucky he only gave up 4 hits, but those 7 walks will be the death of him against a team with more firepower
  10. Maybe if Jimenez threw down anything other than a 1, he might have gotten them off-balance. Moore got bashed based on his heater. You cannot be that predictable and win vs the sox.
  11. NYY Fans is not an accurate representation of us. I'm banned over there
  12. He cannot even handle that, lol
  13. BTW, Nick Swisher might be the worst RF in baseball
  14. Jeter is looking vintage again. Sounds like he put in a good workout in the off-season
  15. I find it funny that a guy stalks a defensive replacement without any other major skill. It's Daniel Nava version #2.
  16. Yeah, I am. I work in the am, but tonight I get watch the game. Good to see us light up that AAAA pitcher.
  17. Nova is finally learning how to attack hitters and get strikeouts. He is gonna be a good one
  18. I watched the game for the first 4 innings and then listened to it the rest of the way. Prior to the 5th, he was tightroping out of danger and then lost it in the 5th. No reason he should have started off the 6th aside from lefty-lefty matchups, but it was clear he was done prior to that. 10 baserunners in 5 innings is dreadful, but it is interesting how he gets hit. He has good stuff. Big league changeup, plus curve, 94mph fastball. But his location pitch to pitch has been his downfall. He'll snap off two phenomenal curves down and away then hang one that gets roped. He needs to be consistent in order to be successful in this league
  19. Bowden will catch on with another team. Expo will likely be stuck in the sox minors
  20. He's the most obvious choice for demotion when pettitte or Pineda are ready. But I think he should be in the rotation until then. He reminds me of Tim Hudson. Fast worker, strike machine who works everything around a sick 2 seamer. I knew he had a good arsenal, but I was not aware of how good his 2 seamer was
  21. Time to move Hughes to the pen and phelps to the rotation
  22. I think Clemens get passed over for the hall on the first ballot just as a punishment. I doubt people can overlook his whole career, though, and will get in with ease his second time around
  23. I am sure they MRI'd it to see if there were any complete tears, but when it comes to the shoulder, it is usually best performed after the swelling is gone. You can see inflammation on the MRI and I am sure he has some inflammation in the cuff, the capsule, and the labrum. The extent of the damage likely wont be known until they re-examine him after the swelling subsides.
  24. I got to watch the first 4 innings. That was the Kuroda we saw in ST. Every pitch was on point, great movement and pinpoint location. I think he was a very underestimated acquisition
