  1. It's a 12 week injury post surgery. If it's torn, there isn't more damage that can be done. He'll probably have it operated on once the season ends. Imagine what he'd be doing if it wasn't torn?
  2. It does. I think that might actually be the case. Good find
  3. Also, thank god the Yankees hitters are starting to return. Our smoke and mirrors offense is starting to get figured out
  4. The loss column looks tied.
  5. I'm bad luck it seems
  6. You guys really have your panties in a bunch. The new age sox fans cannot take a good ribbing
  7. Yeah, there is one mock with JP falling to them, so I think that one is behind the times. Back in March, JP was a late 1st rounder, but all the recent ones I've seen have him top ten as you said
  8. CC's house of horrors shows up again. He's now 3-10 vs the Rays as a Yankee. 2 of 3 in Tampa works for me. Now time to beat the s*** out of the Mutts. I'll be at the game!
  9. You guys whine far too much. It's a baseball game and both of our teams were expected to be in the cellar and we're the top dogs in the division. Enjoy the banter while it lasts
  10. JP Crawford. That's the guy I meant
  11. For the Yankees, everyone has Rob Kaminsky going to the Yankees with their first pick. I just don't know how a HS LHP with a mid 90s fastball and a knockout curve lasts to 26. If he does, I'll be ecstatic. The last 2 picks are all over the board from Manaea, Crawford and Denney (3 guys who were top 10 just a week ago) to guys like Anderson, Jagielo, Wahl, etc who are all profiled either end of the 1st or out of the 1st round. If Crawford or Denney fall to the 32 or 33 pick, the Yankees would be f***ing retarded to pass on them. Crawford might be the best prep SS and Denney is the second best prep catcher behind Reese McGuire
  12. Back to the mocks... Clint Frazier is the hot name for the Red Sox. There were 5 new mocks over the last 3 days, and 4 of them have Frazier going to the sox. One had Frazier go #6 and the sox getting Stanek. The sox were linked to so many guys over the past few months, but guys who were expected to fall to them previously, aren't expected to fall anymore. Bryant and Moran are going before the sox pick and Manaea is going to be a late 1st round wild card. I think Frazier is going to be the pick, and he's a hell of a player
  13. De la Rosa has to lower the walks. He won't be allowing 5.8 hits per 9 in the bigs. If he keeps that walk rate near five, he's gonna roast in the bigs
  14. A Stanton deal would be a system wrecker, and a system wrecker from a system that would be a top 5 hands down
  15. I'll take ARod playoffs circa 2009.
  16. Obviously it's early. But the early part of the yr is what I was worried about.
  17. You mean the Bruins? Who gives a f***. It's May, who cares about a game played on a frozen pond only in Canada.
  18. You mean for his last 18 save opportunities
  19. You mean the guy who is averaging 5.2IP per start?
  20. Yes, the advanced stats, the same ones that said the Orioles weren't going to make the playoffs, until they did. This Yankees team reminds me of the great teams in the late 90s. Veterans all pulling in the right direction. A rotation that may not have been the best in the league, but gave innings and held leads. A bullpen that was completely lights out. And an offense that hit to situations and hit in the clutch. In terms of the pythag, the Yankees have outperformed it for nearly 18 years. Why is that? Because when they have a lead in the late innings, they don't lose. That also has a lot to do with Mo. And speaking of Mo, he hasn't blown a save.
  21. The sox are peaking right now, lol. BTW, another save by Mo! We might need to coax him out of this whole retirement talk. He looks better than ever
  22. Dude, we're a better team at full strength. We're at half strength and we've been the better team through 8 weeks. We get closer to full strength as time moves on. We get Youk and Tex back next week. Granderson should be back around the ASB when ARod and Jeter return. We also get Pettitte back in a week. Once we're healthy, we will be markedly better, so your time to jump on us is now
