HOSN, ARod wont leave and make anymore per yr than he will make the next 3 yrs. He is due 27 mil per season the next 3 yrs. Nobody beats that. But what ARod can get is a long term deal as a 32 yr old for something near 20 mil a yr. If ARod doesnt think he can stay healthy up to 34 yrs old and wont command a 15 mil salary, then it isnt fiscally feasible. If he thinks he can stay healthy and can handle NY, then opting out isnt financially feasible.
