the sox would dominate the NL West, just like the yankees would over a full season. The NL West is, as always, the also ran division. The pitching may look nice, but the only guys from that division that are worth a damn on the mound are Peavy, Webb, and MAYBE Francis. Lowe is a mid rotation pitcher in the AL while he is a top rotation pitcher in the NL. Wells was toast in the AL and is toast here. Penny would get scorched in the AL. You have to admit that it is a much different ballgame over here and for the most part, a much tougher road to travel. Hell, RJ is coming back with half of a back and is pitching like an ace in the NL West. In the AL, the guy was a 4+-5 ERA pitcher.
