Scutaro is a pest, and he is better than Green. But getting behind the #9 hitter on any team is a recipe for disaster. Just ridiculous that nobody could throw strike 1 to him. Beltre hammered fastballs all night. Not sure why people throw him fastballs especially out over the plate. He can be pitched to, just like any major leaguer, but you gotta be careful with him. Cameron was meh. Schoeneweis has nothing, but got some loogy outs. Overall, sox fans have to be pleased with game 1 from the new crowd

Wicked cheesy beginning. Why the hell did Pedro throw out the first pitch, he isnt retired. He could very well be a sox opponent come June. The 5 yr old kid? Seriously, stupid. CC looked good early, but really had spotty command. Girardi left him out there WAY too long. Couldnt locate the breaking pitches and had to come in with the cheese and got pounded. Regardless, its game 1, I was shocked our offense hit as well as it did this early in the season.
