    The sample sizes are too small to say that he will be owned. You can never predict anything in something as human as baseball. But, it's not to small to say that he HAS been owned in his starts against the Sox. I'm not saying that he is going to blow again, but he has blown in the past. Again, he has sucked in the past. I dont know how he'll do tomorrow.

    To be fair to him Maroth has been owned by the sox, never winning, with an ERA close to 8, so it may be a more even game then you'd think

    I've started to look forward to whenever you predict the sox to lose. They always seem to win those games. Keep it up.

    I agree, I've always liked Coco, he has a nice personality, but that doesnt win games. I've stated before that i thought WMP could handle Centerfield. He's played there plenty in his career with few errors. I realize it's not the best way to judge defensive worth, especially in the outfield but he is competent. He is friggin scary with his power, and i dont care if he strikes out as much as he does, he's not going to get any better on the bench, and K's are overrated outs anyways. Occasionally it will matter to hit the sac fly or make some contact, but with his power we should be hoping for the long ball anyway. Besides, who wouldnt take a Dunn on their team? I say give him a chance, or, in the least, figure out a platoon or something.

    Well whoever of us doesnt win the division, won't make the playoffs. Pray to the lord almighty Beckett is ok.

    Why Not? Wake has been outstanding, and if the Sox stay as hot as they are their is no reason not to think we'll win. Even if Halliday pitches a good game it's not like it's any less run support for Wake then he usually has.

    I just got back from baseball practice and Yahoo! says "M. Lowell singled to shortstop, D. Ortiz and K. Youkilis scored" How does that happen? Was it fielded poorly or something? Or has Youk unlocked his super speed?

    Off of the top of my head didnt he win all defensive something or other in college? And if he isnt a good power hitter and isnt a good contact hitter, how the hell did he amass a 300+ average in the minors?
