I know him from a White Sox fan site. He's a bit nerdy, but he's alright.

One of my dad's friends had a son who was at Iowa at that time. He once told me that everyone on campus thought Pierce was a drillrod. The columns I read online from the Daily Iowan, Iowa City Press-Citizen and Quad City Times didn't exactly put him in a positive light either.

I'm not an alum, but I inheirited my love for the Hawkeyes from my dad, who is an alum. The greaseball's best days were his first few years when the guys on the team were mostly Tom Davis' recruits. I should've known something was wrong the season before the Pierre Pierce incident when Sean Sonderleiter, a senior, quit with two weeks left in the season. When it was announced that Alford was leaving Iowa to take the New Mexico job, I would've driven to Iowa City to help him pack just to get him away from the program as fast as possible.
