  1. keep in mind Mirabellis crazy stats vs lilly
  2. that foot looks ginger, but great homer
  3. Webb is starting tonite vs. Pedro and the Mets
  4. exactly, I would expect they would ask for one of our good young pitchers, and theo probly wont do that deal
  5. 1B is most important to me. It sure would be nice to get a quick developer that could come up in the next 4 years so we could not have too much of a gap between Lowells retirement and Youk switching back to 3rd and this kid at 1st
  6. injured left shoulder, thats all i got
  7. ok, whatever, hope it is us
  8. this is not a guy they raised and are now dealing because they havent been able to win with him like Beltran, Damon, etc. He is new and they will probly keep him for a year at least. I love the idea of getting him, but it doesnt seem realistic. If we did get him, it would probably cost us a top prospect pitcher, maybe the kid goin tnite
  9. well, that isnt good, but he might as well join the club I dont like Wilson moving to the AL, seems risky Sanders is a good idea but i dont see KC trading him
  10. hey what about a trade with SF we give Snow and prospects for Randy Winn
  11. whoa! nix my comment about Varitek and Mirabelli Mirabelli vs. Lilly .400 AVG, .471 OBP, 3 HR, 4 RBI, 1.471 OPS
  12. Youk at 5 surprising Loretta in the game surprising Nixon at 8 surprising
  13. not a good idea to put mirabelli in. Varitek is better at handling young pitchers and his line against Lilly is one of the only good ones. .357 AVG, .455 OBP, 2 doubles, 1 HR, 2 RBI
  14. i hope so, but francona seems awfully cautious, but he should definitely sit out this game, not worth the risk with Lilly vs. Pauley
  15. this discussion had to do with while Loretta was out, either Cora or Gonzo wont even be playing with Loretta in there
  16. put him 9th! Youk that is, Coco leadoff
  17. thats why i would put Youk at nine, so you already have two on, but yes, Cora would still be bunting
  18. From ESPN.com $12.25 million if he rejoins Houston in late June. The tentative goal is to have him start against the Minnesota Twins on June 22; if he's put on the big league roster that day, he would earn $12,632,307. Although we are disappointed that Roger Clemens will not be joining the Red Sox, we are glad that we went through the process and reconnected as an organization with Roger," the Red Sox said in a statement. "We wish him the best of luck with Houston and in the National League. When Roger's career does come to an end, we will welcome him to Fenway Park and will forever consider him to be a legendary and beloved member of the Boston Red Sox."
  19. prorated 22 mil, nothing on condidtions just yet
  20. i think you put Cora in the 2 spot and Gonzo 8 or 9. I prefer 8, as ive been saying and put Youk in the 9 hole to complement the top of the order
  21. great to have u
  22. First off, Nomar is impossible. The Dodgers wont trade him and he cant play SS. Rollins is probly not on the market. Wood is great, but I would agree with giving Pedroia a shot. If we were to bring someone in, Counsell sounds good to me, but that would require the Dbacks to fall out of contention or have a dire need of something we can give them
  23. Rogah has signed with Houston with a prorated deal worth $ 22 million. This according to ESPN
  24. if coco gets on, they are in trouble
