Wang is ok. He reminds me alot of Derek Lowe. If he is getting the low strike, he is gonna be pretty tough to score on unless all of those grounders find holes. Right now, I would say Wang is the Yankees 2nd best starter.. and it isn't even close.

I don't know where you get your prognostications? Are you forecasting Melky into a .300 hitter in the MAJOR leagues based on 1 month of AAA ball this year>? I mean looking at 2005 where he had a .275 BA and .322 OBP in 400 plus AB's at AAand a .248 BA with a pathetic .309 OBP in 100-plus AB's at AAA. If you are going to be a simp.. and "Cherry Pick" MINOR league stats to qualify your silly projections, at least take an ENTIRE Minor League season... Gotta agree with the Riv..Lester is not ready. Now Cole Hamels...he WAS ready.. I had him in a SIM league which is now extinct...Every year I wondered when they would bring him up. They finally did. He is a BEAST.. Lester will most likely start the year in Boston next year..but I wouldn't totally rule-out a September call-up.

We have a Melky Cabrera...he is in AAA, his name is Adam Stern...only he is light years better as an outfielder. If Manny went down, I would not be convincing myself that "HE" could fill the void. Unfortunately, your owners INFLATED ego will not allow him to stand by and have his season hinging on the performances of Melky and Bubba Crosby..and I think you know this.
