Big risk, hes shown hes not very great in pressure spots, i.e. playoffs against Pujols. But if you really dissect his numbers, besides ERA theyre pretty solid. 104 strikeouts in 75 innings, 1.4 WHIP, .238 BAA. Career numbers of a 3.29 era, 473 strikeouts in 334 innings, and a .211 BAA. The ERA number from last year is curious...a lotta homers.

30 homers in 90 games...dream on.

WOWZA! Jennings is a pretty solid pitcher, I'd call him a #3 on a good team. But a young speedy outfielder, a top prospect and another good pitcher? I'd have to agree with B95 here...nice deal by Colorado. But their pitching is terrible now. Just awful.

I would jump on that deal. Pena moves to center, or right with Drew in center...the outfield is still pretty damn good, if not even better (offensively...WMP worries me wonders in the field)...Gonzalez is young, had a fantastic year in 2006.
