    By pythag, the A's should be leading the AL West by 5 games. I don't really get why they traded 40% of their starting rotation. (Although Blanton does suck). EDIT: Alright lemme explain. The trade is a steal for the A's. They got the Phil's #2 and #4 prospects for an okay pitcher. I'm just a little confused on the A's strategy for the season, if they're gonna go for it (I would), or sell.

    A C+? That's low I think. We've missed Ortiz for a good chunk of time, and Beckett, Matsuzaka, Buchholz and Lowell have on spent time on the DL. And we had a pretty rough schedule. We're in first by 1/2 a game, and according to Pythag it should be a 4 1/2 game lead.
