    Yeah, I can really see Pedroia getting it if he stays good (probably not as good as he has been, but solid). That'd be pretty incredible, going from a .190 hitting rookie in May 2007 to an MVP in 2008.

    I don't know, John Lackey is pretty good. He's having a better year than Beckett this year. I know someone will mention the playoff performances, and while Beckett has been unbelievable in his two playoffs, Lackey hasn't been a slouch (2-2, 3.63 ERA).
