  1. As will I. Get psyched, but not as psyched as you would for Kilo.
  2. So Ray Allen's pretty cool.
  3. What a sick game. Couldn't get to a computer yesterday, would have loved to have been here. I did the next best thing-I watched it with a Yankee fan.
  4. That's rough indeed. I guess Marte is the setup man for now?
  5. People recognize me on the street more. When I did college interviews this week, I just told them I was a mod and I was admitted. I didn't even apply.
  6. I am in debt to MannyHOF and YOTN. Who needs Manny-Papi when you have these guys? Make it 9.
  7. All picks are now to be made in the stickied thread.
  8. Ughhhhhh. How are watching games and analyzing the game mutually exclusive? I play baseball, I watch baseball and I read BP, FanGraphs, etc. Analyzing it doesn't take away from my watching experience, it adds to it. orly?
  9. Really? You're a bigger Yankee hater than a Sox fan?
  10. Yep, Bard makes it a lot easier to eventually say goodbye to Papelbon when he goes to the Yankees.
  11. I guess it would have been cool, but I'm pretty content with 2 rings in 5 years as well.
  12. He liked baseball?
  13. Preferably Engel Beltre.
  14. The park effect is a good call in terms of comparing the players in general. You couldn't really go wrong with either player.
  15. I'd take Wright. I think both will be mid .900 OPSers, but Wright has already done it for a number of years, gets more steals and walks more.
  16. And yeah Kilo, I asked about Strasburg in the other thread. I'd say it's cool to draft him, since he'll probably be in the bigs by the end of the year. And because I want him.
  17. *Picks Roberto Clemente*
  18. I didn't mean typo as in your mistake, just the long names. Kilo: Probably should have asked this earlier, but are we supposed to be picking realistic teams, as in considering defense, batting order, bullpen roles?
  19. I was between Hanley and Pujols myself. I chose Hanley because of position scarcity (though Hanley could very well move to CF sometime in the near future), and the speed. Hanley's also younger. Either pick would have been reasonable.
  20. Going for the all typo team?
  21. ^ Who said he sucked offensively? Nice start for the Celts.
  22. Yeah that chart is going to be epic.
