    An outfield of Nava/Podsednik/Byrd is definitely what I had in mind in March.

    Don't know if anyone watched this on MASN, but the announcers were trying to say that Hunter's balk was caused by Byrd calling time-out. Of course, the only motion Byrd made was toward the mound, to call Hunter out on the balk he had just committed. Also, they call Nava "Nay-va." On the bright side, the Red Sox won.

    So as good as Middlebrooks has been, I'm comfortable with sending him down when Youk comes back. He's K'd in 12 of his last 22 PAs. Also, Cody Ross! Matt Moore you're not not special.

    So I am watching the Orioles game as well, and they just showed an infographic that was conveying that when the Orioles score 5+ runs in a game, they are much more successful than when they do not. I am grateful for NESN.

    Embarrassing. Sox are one balk away from matching their season total last year. This shouldn't be a constant concern.
