  1. Then someone tell Jed Hoyer to get the lube, because he'll get f***ed in the ass.
  2. 1.32 and 1.29 are their WHIPs if you take out 2009.
  3. 1.32 is not significantly higher than 1.29.
  4. Becket-Lester-Buchholz is the front three. Assuming the Yankees finish with the best record and choose the eight day series, then the Sox get the seven day. This means that with a three man rotation, the G1 starter gets three days rest to start G4, and the G2 starter gets four days rest to start G5. I think you go with the three man rotation in the LDS. If the Sox get to the ALCS, they could manage a three man rotation again if they're willing to go with the G1 starter on three days rest for G4. That's the only circumstance in which short rest would be required. If they go with the 4 man for either series, I think it's too early to tell who the #4 is. Nobody is standing out right now. Wake is hurt, Dice-K hasn't come back yet, it's much too early to form a judgment on Byrd, and Tazawa has been unreliable and is the definition of inexperienced.
  5. lol, this page And yes, I'd be very surprised if the first round was not Boston at Los Angeles and Detroit at New York.
  6. We do have a Texas GT.
  7. Rays lost, Rangers are losing.
  8. ...He reminds you of Gagne after...less than an inning?
  9. So Byrd's actually doing well. Hmm.
  10. I think it should go to the best player. It's an individual award and team performance should have no influence. By the way, looking at VORP it's Mauer by a long shot, then Jeter and Bartlett. Teixeira is 18th in the AL in VORP.
  11. I don't have a video, but did anyone see the pitcher who asked his coach if he could hit a batter? What a f***ing pussy.
  12. They have some great pieces on both sides. Wieters, Jones, Markakis, Reimold, Tillman, Matusz, etc...
  13. What CB said. He's a great value, keep him.
  14. Riverside and Thumper may have something to say to this.
  15. The Sox were favored yesterday, considering both pitchers' prior performances against the opposition, home game, etc.
  16. TOR 1. Marco Scutaro SS 2. Aaron Hill 2B 3. Adam Lind DH 4. Lyle Overbay 1B 5. Vernon Wells CF 6. Rod Barajas C 7. Travis Snider RF 8. Jose Bautista LF 9. John McDonald 3B --Roy Halladay SP Halladay's last two starts: 11 IP, 20 H, 11 ER, 3 BB, 15 K. Continue to suck!
  17. Yes, but he's going to Pawtucket. I do assume, however, that he will be added to the 40 man and called up when the rosters expand.
  18. Huzzah, victory. Still 2.5 up on Texas.
