Drew has gotten off to a rough start. Abreu, the second half of last year aside, was on a decline for a couple of years. I say Abreu because I think Drew's actually hurt.

Not really. There's always liability for these bartenders and they need to recognize when to cut a guy off, especially when it comes to drunk driving. The drunk driver can harm others when driving a deadly weapon. The obese guy can't.

Why not move Lowell? He's playing way over his head IMO, and I'd like to avoid the inevitable second half swoon with him. Youk at 3B + Helton at 1B > Lowell at 3B + Helton at 1B Lowell, Pauley, Murphy for Helton and cash?

They were saying on the radio that the people were sued to be deposed, not necessarily to be brought for financial damages. There's a law in Missouri that could put some serious blame on the bar owner/bartender for not cutting him off though.

Look, a sweep would have been the biggest momentum boost for the Yankees. They'd be 7.5 out and riding high. But the fact that Julian Tavarez saved the series (well, him and Javier Lopez), means 3 days are off the calendar and you only gained one game. Winning 2/3 in the Bronx will always be a tough task. Just like next weekend, I expect the Sox to take 2/3.

I just think it's a product of Wakefield and Schilling having s***** starts. It happens. If they got swept I'd agree with you. Losing one game is not a big deal. They're still going to be 9.5 up, even if they lose. (But wouldn't it be an awesome comeback?)
