  1. if I did that, I'd lose my job. I know better and he should have as well, hopefully he's learned that derogatory statements based on creed, sexual orientation, race, etc... es no bueno. Good for MLB for suspending him.
  2. the backdoor... I mean his ass
  3. I'm not sure where to put this because it is so fitting in every thread here, but the entire Red Sox organization is a bunch of jr. high girls on the rag. That is all & I'm sorry it wasn't more constructive, I'm just sick of this immature drama BS. Even more sick than watching them suck in September. It really is disappointing.
  4. god damn you shaky camera! Hold the camera still god dammit!
  5. I'm sorry, you're right. I should have clarified that with extreme/acute cases...
  6. def. not an OCD subtype.
  7. david carradine?
  8. yea, I kinda doubt I'll bring it. I'll prbly have more fun if I just focus on the sox and get random updates about the B's. yea, I'm actually in Watertown now. Sometimes I miss the brookline, but not when I have to pay rent or park.
  9. So I'm going to the game Tuesday night, except that the B's are also playing. I'm thinking of bringing my laptop to watch the B's during the sox game. Anyone know if Fenway has wifi? rock.
  10. I remember hearing something that Curt Young wanted him to attack the zone more. Maybe that's what he was doing, I dunno?
  11. O'Learys on Beacon Street (close to Fenway) is also a pretty cool place to eat...close to Sol Azteca actually. Also, Boston Beer Works right across from Fenway is a good place. But it gets packed before a game. Public transportation works pretty well, the green line can be slow at times, as it is above-ground. The suggestion for the Holliday Inn in Brookline on Beacon street is pretty solid advice. If you want to go cheaper you can stay at the Super8 In Watertown and take the 57 Bus straight to Fenway, but you won't be in the city.
  12. What's the median age? Averages are easily skewed by extremes.
  13. Didn't Jose Canseco try pitching? Would that count? What about Gabe Kapler? Didn't he pitch an inning awhile back? rock.
  14. So you're almost concerned then? :harhar:
  15. Sorry if this was already posted, but it's damned funny: http://www.cbssports.com/mcc/blogs/entry/6270335/26286349 Not only did the Red Sox acquire a three-time All-Star and a two-time Gold Glove winner in Adrian Gonzalez, they also acquired a pretty good actor. How's this for a nice-to-meet-ya: While Gonzalez was in Boston for his physical examination over the weekend, he was at dinner Friday night with some Red Sox executives when, from across the restaurant, came a familiar face to greet him. It just so happened that Sox outfielder Jacoby Ellsbury was having dinner in the same restaurant. Ellsbury approached the Red Sox table and congratulated Gonzalez on coming to Boston. Without missing a beat, Gonzalez smiled, accepted the congratulations -- and then congratulated Ellsbury. "And my place is going to be open, so if you need a place to stay in San Diego, let me know," Gonzalez deadpanned to Ellsbury. According to a Padres executive, who had been briefed by their Red Sox counterparts, Ellsbury momentarily froze ... before he was assured that no, he was not headed west to San Diego as part of the trade. Everyone was said to have gotten a big laugh -- including Ellsbury. And then, presumably, Gonzalez, who is expected to receive a seven-year deal worth $23 or $24 million a year sometime around Opening Day ... picked up the check? No official confirmation on that part of the evening.
  16. Just in: Bruins trade Seguin and Tuukka to Toronto for Kessel and Randy Moss.
  17. Then its more obvious that its propoganda. Take a listen to the media, there's the real propoganda.
  18. Then you should also account for the japanese sponsorship/sales/money that were made as a result of bringing in dicek. I have a psych degree you nutball :harhar:
  19. yeah, the sox signing Jeter would be a yankee move, not a sox move.
  20. It actually wasn't a joke. That's exactly how anxiety and avoidance behaviors work.
  21. Given his disorder I'm sure he's perfected the art of hiding/avoidance.
