  1. Clemens, Clement, what's the difference? Either one will fold down the stretch. Besides, Raajaa needs to stay in the NL so he can throw another bat at Piazza.
  2. Yes. And before I say that the Sox will win the AL East, I need to add that I love Bill Walton and think he is a treasure of a basketball personality.
  3. Call him Mr. No Excuse. I mean, at least Walton can blame all the acid he ate while on tour with the Grateful Dead.
  4. I can't believe they can get away with that. Now if the lyrics had said "ESPN", I bet they definately would have let that go.
  5. Great job, Sox Fan on Cape!
  6. *interprets post to read like Gonzo had signed with the MFY's* :harhar:
  7. Sox Fan on Cape, sorry for the interruption regarding your pool. I just strongly felt that needed to be addressed.
  8. First off, nobody is looking to derail SFC's thread, nor do the condolences do that. We appreciate what SFC is doing, and the next person who registers puts the thread back on topic. Second, you're not even involved in this pool. Who died and made you boss? If SFC takes exception to the condolences, certainly they or the admin should be the one to comment on that. Last, and most importantly, someone suddenly and unexpectly lost a friend. Demonstrate some class and decorum or please politely refrain from commenting.
  9. Thanks, TMW. Hopefully someone here will get some good news after the lottery.
  10. It's not happening: http://redsox.bostonherald.com/redSox/view.bg?articleid=124377 Nobody will give up multiple prospects and take on his salary. Remember, he could have been picked up by anyone for just salary when he was placed on waivers. Put the new bathroom in for him behind the Green Monster and he'll be fine in Boston.
  11. Sorry to hear, Crunch, that's rough.
  12. Thanks SFC, this is great. Good luck everybody!
  13. The video feed was absolutely awful, and the audio wasn't much better. The baseball that I saw wasn't bad, but why bother if the production flat out sucks?
  14. Hehehe... So I says to the Lama, "Hey Lama, how's about a little somethin', you know, for the effort"...
  15. Not deliberately. Just genetically!:harhar:
  16. KTF, you have him nailed in what, a couple of days he's been posting? Bravo!
  17. Awwww. Riv, I think they already have your number here.
  18. That's kind of long-term if you are looking to win the division, though.
  19. Does he say "F - You, Jobu" and rub chicken wings on bats?
  20. Plus Timlin needs to start innings, he allows too many inherited runners to score to be your long-term closer.
  21. He referenced a post here: http://sonsofsamhorn.net/index.php?showtopic=2826&st=1010 But mentions that Boston is balking? I'd think they'd want to dump Clement's salary along with his late season performance.
  22. Any details? I thought the 750k we paid him last year wasn't a bad move.
  23. Did Wade Miller sign yet?
  24. Put me in if there's still room.
  25. Yeah, but anything close to last year with him and the bullpen will look like a gas station.
