  1. nobody has longer eyelashes than derek jeter that and his creamy coco butter like skin should clinch it for him
  2. brad lidge?? has he gotten anyone out that mattered since last october? stop it please i barely lived thru the days of jim willoughby and bob stanley and bill campbell(bleacher tix were 2.00 before we signed bill campbell) and the man with the beard jeff reardon i lived thru the tim wakefield and derek lowe experieces i recall tommy gordon going 45-45 or something insane like that in 98 before he gave up the game winners against cleveland in game 3 of the playoffs(anyone remember pete schoureks last game??).... didnt lidge lose the job in houston ?? why take on an obvious liability if hes getting croaked in the nl central what will happen here?? 5.62 era in the nl central?? that doesnt translate well over here and i also think that giving up on crisp goes against the best interests of the franchise crisp is real young and has real upside i dont think the big market frightened him i think the park itself is a tuff place to play and i think his finger was f***ed up all year long i'm willing to take a shot with him next season as hes the only outfielder we have on the 40man roster who can run like an outfielder should
  3. morneau or even their pitcher wouldnt be a bad move id accept it whats the yanks record since abreau came aboard?? think that helped them over the top?? Irods work with pitching staff has been incredible in detroit but his offensive #s dont justify mvp votes...however where are they without him?? same place as the sox are i feel jermaine dye has muscle around him hes also had a huge year i have no issue with him getting it the issue i have is jeters power#s or lack there of and his limited range at short johnny damon is the yankees spark jetsey isnt the best short stop on his own team and may win the batting title i saw boggs win several batting titles while playing great 3b and hitting for more power i dont recall an mvp
  4. williams walked off the field after his last ab went yard and he promptly tossed the sox press box the bird he wasnt a warm man he did do some incredible work with charity thats never been spoken of he hit 406 and didnt win the mvp with a boston writer keeping him off the ballot he won the triple crown and didnt win the mvp either he had his reasons and to hate the press personally speaking i dont care about individual awards that being said anyone in ny who'd admit that jetsey is move valuable than ortiz is very very full of s***
  5. i agree now they arent a superbowl team however last year they were very capable of winning it all do you really think pitt beats us if we got by denver?? as it stands i think this team is a legit wide out away from having the best offense bar none in football...that legit wideout wasnt reupped and the window for the best O in the game escapes us accordingly i think that this defense has the best front in the business i think the dbacks are coming along and they may need more of a physical presence but are generally adequete the linebackers are old but we have playmakers in colvin and brewski and run stuffers like vrabel....they get it done im pissed cause i thought they were good enuff to win it all and they let it go over a money issue with a guy who earned a new contract
  6. i remember the cards deemed him ""untouchable"" and they failed to pick up bullpen help when the road to the world series was paved for them
  7. i have no objections to using snyder as a 5 lester shouldnt be in the equation its cancer, not a groin pull while we hope he ends up well its not a given that he'll be healthy i dont want to revisit the uncertainty that had 10 fukin guys being used as a 5th starter snyder has a mlb curve ball for some reason he cant go 6 and labors badly late in games kc cut him but i dont think hes pitched as bad as a kc waiver wire product would
  8. uh oh for the twins just as they appeared to be gettin it done http://money.cnn.com/cnnsi/2006/baseball/mlb/09/13/liriano.out.ap/index.html
  9. i like success sorry i dont see how coming into the 2006 season with roman gabriel and a guy who's a wideout because only because he wears a jersey with the # 80 on it will continue this success i dont understand how come we had 3 tightends on the roster and no decent wideouts we drafter another f***ing tight end i dont know why we didnt trade branch to another club who had a disgruntled or available wideout either. winning in the nfl is a short window for those of you younger than 18 who dont know this. the 3 in 4 years was awesome does that mean we're supposed to suck and lay down?? sorry i didnt get that memo does that give management carte blanche not to spend whats available?? then cut raping your customers think this s*** lasts forever?? ask the celtics or bruins or cowboys or 49ers. glory is fleeting ask hitler or stalin or saddam hussein or king hussein or lil george in a couple years every football city in america is breathing easier cause of this deal and in seattle theyre ecstatic here in the valley of the mighty blackstone i dont see how starting the season with no viable receivers and the best qb in the game helps
  10. as long as people like you buy into this ******** that allows them to charge the highest tix in football without fullfilling their obligations to the fans that means that jon jon and bob and myra dont have to spend. and i gave up my pats seasons after 13 years because they cut lawyer milloy and still proceeded to jam the ""handling fee"" of 11.95 on my season tix 20x11.95 for ""handling"" i called the front office the day i got my 03 bill which was in february i think I asked them what this handling charge was for..... i got no response they got no check and now i watch them from the comfort of the bar stool or my couch now and spend the money on bc tix and fly my family to the caribbean instead of going to foxboro you think keeping 13,000,000.00 under the cap is a little thing you think lining up troy brown and a s*** bag wideout with no experience on the other side is a little thing too?? troy brown, the man who last played regularly as a 5th d back is our featured wide out what exactly do you consider a big thing?? sorry no wide outs presents a problem anyways did you hear what came out of the pats locker room?? patrick pass in tears, seymour looking for answers, anonymous players questioning the teams commitment meanwhile across the country and in the local papers we know of 2 winners and 54 losers the winners being deion and the seahawks (that'll show future holdouts,36M and a trade to a superbowl team...those bastards) the losers being the patriots and again i ask for the 3rd time what was the back up plan after watching givens willie a/v and now deion walk?? thats right doug gabriel
  11. vasquez went to ny because they had nick johnson on the table we wanted vasquez we got schilling as far as ny upping their offers?? o no not that that really f***ed them up at the trade deadlines...they only added abreu wilson lidle and the other utility guy while we countered with.......javy lopez niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice every single move we make is in response to ny ass banging us with our heads stuffed in unflushed public toilets.....in calcutta with that being said matt clement should never ever ever be thought of as a success hes caught vaganitis from pavano and will never throw a ball in anger for the sox again
  12. the seahawks, nfc champs and shoulda been victors thought he was worth it of course mike holmgren doesnt have your football pedigree so is suspect of course youre right just bustin here but just consider why wasnt there a plan in place for this?? because they didnt have 1 or they didnt care its 1 of the other and its us fans who pay the bills getting f***ed over by a stingy ownership group
  13. this front office went after jose contreras they were beat by ny this front office went after javier vasquez before they went after schilling they were beat by ny this front office went after carl pavano before they went after matt clement they were beat by ny this front office tried to retain johnny damon they were beat by ny this front office tried to retain pedro martinez they were beat by ny im not seeing the brilliance here that you are sir in fact i see a young kid kid and his crazy uncle in a boat without oars about to wash against an angry sea of red
  14. agreed however i dont see the logic in having a championship team lacking wide recievers who can actually catch the ball this is week 2 not spring practice we got caught with our pants down over short money stevie wonder saw this coming the front office either didnt know or didnt care which in either case sucks for the fans who again, pay the highest prices in football to have 35 year old troy brown, who makes 800,000 a year be the big play guy look for a tremendous team letdown on sunday as they did after milloy got dumped the difference then was we had a plan,we had rodney harrison to play strong safety this year we have..... doug gabriel to replace the superbowl Mvp??
  15. the front office that brought me the title? stop it you mean the people who brought us manny petey damon lowe and veritek?? or the people who dumped lowe petey damon arroyo and tried to move manny the day they took over and are now selling this patience ******** while charging 32.00 for upper bleacher seats while pimping off every single inch of the back bay.... when they charge minor league prices i'll be patient and enjoy watching the snot noses develop if they insist on ass raping the family of 4 the major leaguers should be on the field
  16. and there sending the rest of the nfl players a message that indicates what cheap f***s they are the dolphins had a head case that refused to give up weed the pats had a kid who was an consumate pro and a superbowl mvp as far as nfl contracts go?? please more cheese dick behavior by the front office isnt whats needed today a viable deep threat is
  17. evidently they need it
  18. we had 86 years of patience now with the pink hat and cell phone people occupying yawkee way we're told to be patient again f*** that
  19. so in essence getting scott hatteberg made wily mo expendable
  20. i enjoy his ahhh competetive spirit
  21. you dont show inherited runners allowed to score as a reliever his efforts as a starter have been very uplifting as compared to his relieving role this is a case where #s lie
  22. i cant argue with that logic lets see how it plays out as far as im concerned i cheer for the name on the front of the shirt not the back if i could cheer for canseco and rob deere?? then wily mo is easy
  23. i would think youre right however based on last nites effort its difficult to get stimulated with anyone oakland would give up seeing as though they were shutout for the 1st time since 1961 against the chargers hey this team this coach has done more with less than anyone ive seen thru the years i havent ruled them out im just questioning their sanity
  24. who did we give up for him??
