  1. bc crushed boise st last year on the blue field in a bowl game really boise had a nice team and in 1 game may stand a chance against a legit top 10 school however when a 2nd tier team like bc runs your ass off your own field youre not ready for the big boy show and despite a 13-0 record against the san joses and uc santa claras of the world they're really not in the same league as a florida or an ohio st or even a wisconsin or an arkansas....that said at 13-0 they did deserve a shot at the title despite being outweighed by 75 lbs a man on the line of scrimmage
  2. well red the last 2 games were against teams playing for their playoff lives at home they both got annilihated jax played defense all year till they met the pats the titans gave up 40 the jets wouldve given up 50 IF the pats needed 50 nobody looks capable of stopping the pats and of course theres the marty factor here to be considered meanwhile denver, who had the best start a defense ever had, just fired their D coordinator? shanahan is the guy who should be fired john elway aint walking thru that door any time soon and shanagags record without john boy speaks for itself... what happened to that defense??
  3. i know a guy who know a guy who takes action the line is at 7 "who do you like sean"" i dunno, osu beat a valid michigan team, texas and the rest of the big 10 but florida plays a tuffer schedule and has a lot more speed in a game like this i'll take the points ""7 is nothing and ohios d will stop them and smith will attack with his legs and arms"" smith never saw a pro style defense with compatable speed like he will tonite speed kills and what the f*** was tressel doing?? going for it on his own 29?? *******
  4. the people in the big ten think they invented football i go back to the archie griffin/cornelius green days of osu and they were always beaten by usc in the rose bowl or in the case of the 77 bama team who beat them in the sugar bowl 38-3 sure they beat miami a couple years ago in ot and michigan beat washington st 10 years ago or so with brian griese but when it matters most, look for the big 10 teams to get beat when the chips are down im of the opinion that michigan was better than ohio st despite the loss i just think lloyd carr blows
  5. wang is a sore elbow away from working at the kowloon
  6. i hope he gets a sexually transmitted disease from his wife debbie who is known to troll the back alleys of houston looking for the love her husband denies her
  7. the pats dline is the best in the business by the way they get pressure without blitzing they handle the running game so guys in the middle like vrabel can scrape and attack theyre peaking at the right time
  8. manning had 3 pix in the 1st half against the mighty chiefs, who didnt have a 1st down till 945 left in the 3rd quarter..... baltimore will bring an element that manning hasnt seen yet this year the patriots on the other hand looked like they were alone on the field....again theyre gelling and peaking at the right time i do wish they had a go to guy and a deep threat but theyve used gaffney and caldwell very well, brown still gets open on 3rd and 6 and the running game is decent san diego lost to the jets last year in the playoffs marty could f*** up a wet dream if marty is on the sidelines the pats are a legit threat to beat this team as a 5 point dog i like them just the same
  9. florida lost 1 game on a blocked punt in auburn this to me is more evidence on how good the sec is smith had a great game against michigan but this fla secondary was too quick for his wideouts teddy ginn? comeon t.o marvin harrison and anyone you can think of wouldnt have made a difference last nite florida couldve scored 60 if they wanted to losing ginn may have played more of psychological role than physical but it really didnt matter in the grand scheme of things i do think 2 months between games is ridiculous but lets make no mistake about it florida is better than ohio st florida won the sec as well they have the best coach in the country in my opinion although tressel is pretty damn good too i would love to see the gators play usc or ohio play usc or lsu play florida again a great year for college football has ended
  10. jimma how ya been
  11. i thought they were coming around after the horrible start 20 goals in 3 games?? we couldnt put those #s up in street hockey leagues without getting stiches
  12. sure they are but every year there are a couple names out there that will be available to our clubs every year in july one of these teams that has a stable of arms will deal out of fiscal need as well add this to the fact that the far east is coming on like crazy and that pitchers are going into their 40s then it seems to me that every year there will be a arms to buy it isnt prudent and id rather pay jon lester 350k than barry zito 150M but it is what it is i am pleasantly surprised with theos drafting theyve done real well good trade em go get me a f***ing closer who has an era under double digits and i can rest till march while kansas city or miami worries about developing craig hansens slider
  13. ya i know jack i agree its nice to see a home grown kid spend his entire career in boston with sunshine and good will towards man kind i mean look how well nomar did emotionally playing here right?? my point is this with our fiscal resources it is almost a certainty that both teams will be competetive always due to the insanity of the money being spent... pitching wins in baseball pitching costs money ny and boston have it and will be in the middle of any and all big name moves when it comes to the above mentioned arena this is why i fear not whether clay buckholtz can keep his slider down or if jacoby ellsburg can hit a major league curve and lay off the split finger in the dust i am of the mindset that they can be replaced with a fistfull of dollars and if that dont work then a few dollars more
  14. pineiro can indeed pitch he tends to get panicky when behind on counts but the man can pitch why has his era doubled in 4 years?? this is the question that needs to be addressed hes young he took a cut in pay since the mariners didnt want him back its a 4M gamble we need 1458 innings of pitching....figure the starters for 900+ this year the other 500-550 will determine where exactly this team is headed if we need 600 bullpen innings this summer we will be f***ed
  15. see this is what ive been saying f*** the prospects theyre good for trade bait and every so often you get a wang or a paplebon or a cano
  16. i used to follow the sabres when they had a team of gil perrault rick martin rene robert jim schoenfelt and the venerable roger crozier in net they beat the 75 canadiens with a goal by jim lorentz in game 6 in the semi's?? and they took a great philly team 6 games but couldnt finish the job and lost in the finals i used to love hockey i blame the sweedes the ruskies the f***ing czecks and gary bettman for destroying what was once a thing of beauty the game now is much better than it was 5 years ago the league needs scoring and open ice with the size of the players now so much bigger than say 20 years ago theres limited room as it is the league did itself a favor by opening the game up again
  17. milton had a couple good years with the twins the guy they traded milton for ended up knocking out keith olbermans mother who was sitting 40 rows deep with a simple throw from 2nd to 1st remember him?? he was no steve sax
  18. i know i havent left my dick alone since we signed joelle pineiro that move really pumps my gnads and as a closer too?? ya baby that 7.50 era in the pitchers haven of seattle oughta sit well here any wonder why the gastro intestinal business in massachusetts is flourishing??
  19. seems every year the sox break a record for players used this isnt a good thing mind you in the never ending struggle for balancing youth and age it seems to me the yanks are finally making a concerted effort to banking some talent of course come july 31st if theyre 6 back this may change the price of poker i can see steinbrenner now gurbing up his creme of furina after corkey farnsworth walks in the winning run in the 12th inning against baltimore on july 29th OHLENDORF?? he sounds like a member of the gestapo go get me eric milton i always liked that kid
  20. i have a question jack does mlb still have a 40 man roster?? based on your projections i think there are 200 guys that suiting up in stripes this year
  21. buffalo?? i thought that franchise folded and moved to phoenix or atlanta
  22. say what you will jack but i wouldnt be surprised if david ortiz funded some of the defered money the yanks gave arizona that ugly prick beat us constantly whether he had a back issue or not the guy always pitched good enuff to win
  23. wisenhunt will bring mark whipple(umass) with him hes innovative young and a great motivator hes going to pitt i think
  24. ny fans can say what they want about rj being gone but that gigantic sigh you heard yesterday was from 10,000,000 people in new england who are thrilled that this guy is now in arizona
