It was an attempt on Damon's part to replicate the class Drew Bledsoe showed when he was traded. Damon's sentiment here is absolutely pathetic and misplaced. You have to wonder if ARod's Image Consultants suggested Damon take out this ad to show the public what a class act he is. Even the most hardened Johnny Damon fans are gonna see thru this charade. Like RS said - Drew's ad to the fans came from the heart and it was obvious to anyone who read it. This ad from JD is beyond pathetic and reeks of a publicists advice.
