    There's not a player in the minors (and that's in any system, not just ours) that I wouldn't trade for King Felix at this point. This game wasn't a flash in the pan...this is what everyone has always said he could do. I'm watching it thinking "I can't believe this filthy sonofabitch is over 2 years younger than me. Poor AL West." I haven't seen dominance like these 2 starts in quite some time...actually, I don't think ever. Is he going to be as good as he was tonight everynight? Of course not...but this is definitley a sign of things to come. Hats off to DiceK...he pitched a good game. With the Sox lineup (insert notorious "on paper..." comment here), giving up 3 runs in a game should put you in line for a win no doubt. I ended up having to go into work so I watched pretty much the whole game, but didn't have the benefit of having the sound on. How was the ovation in Boston for Felix when the game ended? I would have been on my feet had I been there...you've got to be.

    I love how you imply that this is even a question...of course the Yanks will give him whatever anyone else will and more...it's just a matter of whether or not he wants to play there, not the funds.

    To be all kinds of honest with you...I don't hate the idea of Matsuzaka throwing up and in hard on Guillen. Unless a warning is issued at the beginning of the game, I can't see the ump tossing DiceK for one pitch. If anything, it'll prompt a warning to be issued in which case Hernandez loses some of his ability to pitch inside and, should he choose to throw up and in on someone, we get him bounced from the game. I'd much rather face the Mariners long men than King Felix.

    Anyone watching the Giants/Padres game by any chance? In the bottom of the 9th, the game had to be paused for a second because someone ran onto the field. The announcers said "As is our policy, we will not show the guy who ran onto the field." and then they realize it was a woman that ran onto the field, and immediately show her. I don't know, this struck me as weird.

    Nah, Donnelly was in the game long enough to plunk Johjima after everything transpired with Guillen...I don't think anything will happen tomorrow unless Manny/Ortiz/Drew gets buzzed. I don't see that happening unless the game gets out of hand either way. The ball is in the Mariners court, so to speak.

    I'm not going to say who it is...because I like him and don't want to jinx him...and it's a bit early anyways...but a certain former RedSox pitcher has a no-no through 4. It's in the NL...and he's pitching against the DBacks haha. Like I said, I know it's early, but it's a slow night with no Sox game
