    The reason I chose this picture is because the Mets honored the 1986 team tonight. Of course I would put the Yankees as the #1 team to put on a dart board but watching ESPN tonight, I wanted to throw up when they showed the 20 anniversary.

    1)Game six will go down as one of the most excruciating loses of all-time. At least 2004 healed the wounds. 2)It's the freakin' New York Mets! That team was a bunch of addicts. You had Keith Hernandez, Dwight Gooden, Darryll Strawberry and Keith Mitchell, all a bunch of sokeheads. Don't forget Lenny "the gambler" Dykstra. I despise any baseball team from New York, Yankees or Mets.

    Remember when there were a lot of Sox fans who thought Theo was stupid trading Arroyo for Pena? Bronson has been struggling for almost the last two months. This from the Reds site: Bronson Arroyo (9-8), so frustrated by a seven-week slump that he got his shoulder-length hair braided into cornrows two days earlier to try to change his luck. Instead, the All-Star pitcher matched his career high for homers allowed Thursday vs. the Cardinals and remained winless since June 19. (Updated 08/10/2006).

    I don't understand why so many people bash Francona. Of course he is under a microscope and any bad move he makes, he is crucified. You don't see hear a lot people write many positive things Francona does. Terry has done a better job than I expected. First, he was the manager that killed "The Curse" and brought Boston a World Series title. Also, probably the biggest decision he made this year that has kept the Red Sox in playoff contention was putting Paps in the closer role. If you read the game thread on all the Red Sox message boards from the first game Paps closed, there were many Sox fans who were saying if he blew that game, Francona should be fired. As it turned out, Terry made the correct call but I have not read many threads about that. I just read threads like this one.

    I don't know if the Brewers would be willing to trade Damian Miller, but he is a solid catcher. Caught Curt and Randy during the Diamondbacks championship year in 2001.
