  1. Looks like the Red Sox could be shopping him. http://www.rotoworld.com/player/mlb/3492/john-lackey
  2. Does anyone have dvd's of the 2007 playoffs? The reason I ask is I had the playoffs on dvd and I moved six months ago and realized the dvd's are gone. You can email me if you want at: arizona1997@yahoo.com Thanks!
  3. Who knows what the status will be with Lowell's health next year but the Sox need to look to get a starter, a shortstop and catcher. If they can't get Peavy, try and sign Sheets and Teixeira(sp?).
  4. I am looking to read a couple of baseball books this summer and wanted to know what books do you think are the all-time best? I have already read most books about Babe Ruth but I do like reading about baseball from 1900-1950. Any recommendations would be very much appreciated.
  5. For those who have digital cable and the MojoHD channel, they are showing a 1.5 hour recap of the 2007 World Series. http://www.mojohd.com/sports/view/1002141
  6. Do they trade Crisp?
  7. Don't forget center fielder Johnny Damon, oops, I meant DH Johnny Damon.
  8. The Yankees have not won a ring since 2000 and it looks like the Red Sox will have two rings since 2004. With A-Rod and the young guys on this team, he would have a better shot at getting a ring in Boston than New York.
  9. Sign Lowell and A-Rod and trade Lugo and Crisp.
  10. It must really suck to be a Yankee fan tonight. Imagine if A-Rod in a Red Sox uniform next year?
  11. A-Rod will definitely opt out and Cashman said the Yankees will not try and sign him if that is the case. Let's see if Cashman is full of crap on this.
  12. Looks like it is a very possibility. http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=3033203
  13. The teams that have surprised me so far are: Diamondbacks Brewers The teams that have disappointed: Blue Jays White Sox Giants
  14. Maybe the Sox can find a sucker for Drew in the offseason?
  15. This from tonight's game notes on CBSSportsline.com: Red Sox RHP Curt Schilling has spoken highly about Tampa Bay starters Scott Kazmir and James Shields, and on his weekly show on WEEI-Radio in Boston said if an ideal situation came about he would consider joining the Devil Rays next year. "You know it's one of those situations you certainly look at," Schilling said. "If circumstances were to happen and they were to make some moves that were positive, I'd love nothing more than to finish my career working on a pitching staff where I know that there were young guys that were going to be positively impacted by me being around." http://www.cbs.sportsline.com/mlb/gamecenter/recap/MLB_20070821_BOS@TB
  16. To even ask this question shows you don't really know baseball.
  17. Good move for the short term, horrible for the long run. Giving up all those players and draft picks, the Celtics have about 2-3 years to win it all. After that, this team will be back to playing under 500 ball.
  18. Coco has been a much different(better) hitter since he altered his stance. Walks will kill you. Hopefully the offense will stay hot for about 2.5 more months.
  19. The 40th anniversary of "The Impossible Dream" season. You get two dvd's and on one of them, they show the entire Red Sox vs Twins season finale game that won the pennant, and it's in color. Here are the details of what you get. http://www.dickssportinggoods.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2671617
