    Carl Pavano is not a bad pitcher. He really reminds me of a overpaid Josh Beckett. Like Pavano or not this is sad how good talent is stoped by injuries... but atleast its not us and it makes me even happier its with the yanks.

    Clement I think is a Red Son till the end of his contract unless someone wows us with a deal. I still think he'll be worth his money this year and that he'll show up in the post season.

    I've seen Coco play at Jacobs, I live in Ohio and this guy is a player. I think that he will be better than Damon and if he is not then you guys can ride my ass all you want. I will stand by this statement until Coco proves me wrong.

    This single statement is pissing me off so much this year. Why do people think we are i a rebuilding year? Because we didn't sign or trade for high class names. We keep what was good on are team and improve what was lacking (defense, relief, ect) We don't really need Clemens but if we get him it will make are team only better. Paps and Lester will bth see soe prettu good time this year WHILE IN A PLAYOFF RACE, we will win the East and They will learn valuable playof experience. Hansen could see also some limited time. I just don't see why you are packing up your bags for 2007 alreaady:thumbdown We will get our young stars moving in the right direction while also winning at the same team, it is possible.

    It doesn't matter if we are paying Coco the same we are could be paying Jonny. Even though Jonny is a great player now in three years Coco will be better than Jonny ever was. So this was some great moves by the Red Sox

    I would wait it out until the All Star break. See whats happening... if hes makes it on the team offer 32-40mil for 4-5 years. If hes hurt or stuggling I would still make a 18-22mil for 4-5 years

    I'm sorry to ruin your party you have going for gonzo but Dustin should start over this guy. I would want my young talent to get experience so they can prolong a major league career. Even if Gonzo starts do you realy think he can sustain the pressure and if he does i'll admit I made a bad call, but I don't think he'll be anything special. He might have a coule clutch hits for us but everyone steps up a couple times a year, but no one does it like Papi

    The reason he (Figgins) is not very good at all the positions is simpile because he plays all of them. Anyone that has to play everywhere doesn't get the time that others get to improve their skills at one place. If I was boston I would drop all the prospects and maybe ask Vlad and Figgins for Manny plus 10mil??

    He can put on whatever uniform he wants but he always chokes in the big game. Yes I'll be the first to admit Clemens is a very GOOD pitcher but not a great... he chokes when it matters most

    Alright so your saying that you would rather take a high schooler that shows promise or a college player that dominated at high school then at college... for me I rather have the proven talent, thats why are farm system is in great shape and if you don't agree with me on the whole college player thing ask yourself this... How many teams want Paps and how many teams want Duncan?

    I will not watch the WBC... I don't care that people say, "They are playing for national pride." I believe that maybe for teams that suck... the US or other stacked teams like us will just play it out like a All Star game win and get to the medal round and then go 50 percent and win it all.

    Matsui is really that bad... when you have two outfielders out there wih average to below average speed and a CF out there that can make up the ground but has a horrible arm, I would worry about little bloopers letting eople score from 2nd and that Damon might pull a hammy with all that running.
