  1. Brad Penny, RHP (4-1, 6.07) Red Sox (26-18) @ Francisco Liriano, LHP (2-5, 6.04) Twins (21-23) Scouting Report: Red Sox: Penny pitched into the seventh inning for the third time in as many starts last Wednesday at Fenway Park, handcuffing the potent Blue Jays to pick up his fourth victory of the season. The power-righty kept Toronto in check with a steady diet of fastballs, inducing a bevy of flyball outs over 6 2/3 innings of two-run ball. In two career starts against Minnesota, Penny is 1-0 with a 5.25 ERA. Twins: One bad inning did Liriano in Wednesday night against the White Sox, and in a big way. The left-hander threw 37 pitches in a seven-run fourth inning that included two doubles and two home runs. He was relieved after four innings, having watched his ERA balloon to 6.04. Liriano said he was missing his spots, working too quickly, and overthrowing when runners got on base. The loss was his first since April 22 at Boston. The left-hander gave up seven runs in four innings to the Red Sox that time, and will look to improve upon that outing this time around.
  2. Great game, clearly worth 7 hours of driving. EMC club is sick.
  3. First GT ever and going to the game tomorrow, sitting in the EMC club. 4-0 when I see the Sox play live and driving 4 hours to see this game. Have a good feeling about this one. . . Tim Redding, RHP (0-0, 3.00) Mets (23-19) @ Tim Wakefield, RHP (5-2, 3.59) Red Sox (25-18) Scouting Report: Mets: Making his season debut after missing six weeks with a strained right rotator cuff, Redding gave the Mets a fine outing last Monday in Los Angeles: six innings, two hits and two runs. And with no challenger to his rotation spot on the horizon, Redding could endear himself to the Mets with something similar on Sunday. What's tougher than facing the Dodgers at Dodger Stadium? How about the Red Sox at Fenway Park, where Redding has never won. In two career starts in Boston, he is 0-2 with a 12.72 ERA, while the Sox have hit him at a .414 clip. Red Sox: Boston's most dependable starter made quick work of the vaunted Blue Jays last Tuesday, limiting one of the league's top offenses to one run over eight masterful innings. The knuckleballer has been a model of consistency in 2009, logging six innings or more in six of his eight starts this season. Wakefield is 2-3 lifetime against the Mets, with a 2.43 ERA in seven career appearances spanning 40 2/3 innings. Yes I know I f***ed up the date. . . mod fix it when you get a chance

  7. story of the season for the mets
  8. No but he should get his ass kicked in the dugout for being a pussy
  9. Mets line up is pathetic, good game to bring him back.
  10. Yea easily but the Mets have little to nothing to offer.
  11. I like Arsenal because I love how they play, Wenger is a genius. I love how they attack and pass. I think Fabregas is a top 5 midfielder in the world. I hate Man U but that's not why I root for Arsenal. I like Fulham as well because of their American players although they are down to just one now, Dempsey.
  12. Just walked in door, nice to see a W, how did Lester and crew look?
  13. Haha i was hoping someone else caught that
  14. Deepest part of the park
