  1. I think that I would have given Eovaldi the chance to get the k with a man on 3rd and 1 our before going to the bullpen.
  2. Lead off walk is the worst.
  3. I am exhausted watching Eovaldi’s 1st inning.
  4. How many times has Suzuki hurt us through the years?
  5. 3 walks and 2 k’s i guess that we will see Wright today.
  6. The Pale Hose gave Hawk a beautiful send off.
  7. I had mentioned before the trading deadline that I had been following James Shields. He has put up a lot of quality starts, and cut down drastically on his HR balls.
  8. He went behind him. BS Call. The guy was going to beat that play anyway.
  9. Another bs call by the umps to end an inning instead of having bases loaded.
  10. They didn't play up to the level of the Red Sox.
  11. Hawk gave a nice farewell speech. It is always sad to see such a colorful era pass.
  12. 7-3 as I type that.
  13. Maybe not. The Tigers have their best pitcher on the mound — Boyd.
  14. Lynn sucks. But for great plays by Hechavarria and McCutchen in the 3rd inning, the Tigers would have more runs.
  15. It is going a little long.
  16. Catching the end of the White Sox tribute to Hawk Harrelson. Some here may not have been fans of his, but he was an original that never fit any mold. He was entertaining and unique as a player and as an announcer. His expressions like ”He gone” and “You can put it on the board” were uniquely his, and he was second to none in creating nicknames for players. The homerism didn’t bother me. I always enjoyed listening to him — more so when the Carmines were winning.
  17. Which would explain why his girlfriend was crying in that scene.
  18. Better Call Saul is one of my favorites too. I have a question. It isn’t a spoiler alert for people who are behind on the series. When Jimmy reads the nice letter from his prick brother was that really what his prick brother wrote or was Jimmy improvising what he wanted it to say? I just don’t see Chuck as having anything nice to say to Jimmy.
  19. Rodon has been very tough lately.
  20. he did a much better job than Thornburg.
  21. I thought Pom did a fine job tonight.
  22. I was at that game -- no JD, no Betts
